Congrats to Ridgetop Connemaras at Greenwood Farm! Windy was a wonderful pony! We’ve loved having many of his amazing offspring in our lives. Loughin’s Night Wind (Nello), Rainbow’s Charm (dam of Ridgetop Legend in Blue), Ridgetop Celtic Heritage, Ridgetop Smurfy Himself, Ridgetop Virginia Breeze, Federal Hill Zsu, and Rainbow’s Shenandoah, to name a few…

The Tooreen Laddie Award was donated by Mr. and Mrs. Edward Harris as a tribute to their outstanding stallion by that name. It is awarded to a Connemara stallion that has an exceptionally positive influence on the breed through his offspring.

The 2026 Tooreen Laddie Award winner is *Kilfenora Windy Isles, by Windy day × Boden Park Firethorn. He was bred by Michael O'Brien and foaled in 1996.

He was owned and loved by Marynell and Walter Eyles of Ridgetop Farm in Warrenton VA.

He has had 53 purebred and 12 halfbred foals, and many offspring in the following generations. His get are champions in hand in every region in the US with their eye catching Connemara type and bone and movement.

They are dressage ponies, eventers and show jumpers, heart ponies to middle aged riders and trusted lesson ponies to growing Connemara fans.

Congratulations to Marynell and Walter for producing this wonderful Connemara sire! ☘️

Busy weekend for the Tanyderi team☘️

We said good bye to the adorable Stoney Creek Niamh on Friday. We have loved teaching her how to be a riding pony for the last couple months and want to send a huge thank you to her breeder for trusting us with her! She has a very bright future ahead of her! ✨

Margo brought Ridgetop Pirate Blue and Tanyderi All In to the Germantown Charity Horse Show for the EXEL show with Nora and her Rocket Man CJ. All three horses got exactly what they needed and were total super stars ⭐️

Sally had a wonderful time attending the ACPS annual meeting at Frying Pan park in Herndon, VA seeing lots of our favorite Connemara people 💚

The Connemara is a breed often featured on an eventing entry list, and for good reason. Connemaras carry a well-earned reputation for their hardiness, temperaments and athleticism. In fact, many a Connemara has been crossed
