Happy summer to everyone! The staff of Animal House appreciates your patience and support during this busy time of year. The clinic is hopping! As we try to accommodate the medical needs of our patients, we are asking for your help in several ways:
-- Call ahead for medication refills. This will allow time for the staff to get your meds ready at their own pace. We will call or text you when the medication is ready. This INCLUDES flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
-- We all love Dr. Jessica for her kind heart and willingness to go the extra mile, but PLEASE call the front desk if you have a concern, question, or need an appointment for your pet. We will happily pass messages on to Dr. Jessica.
-- Always call to schedule an appointment for your pet(s). Walk In’s disrupt our entire schedule. Call the clinic so that we can tell you the best time for you to bring your pet in. Many of our scheduled appointments have waited weeks to see Dr. Jessica and need to get their full time with her.
-- There is very limited parking availability at the clinic. Keep this in mind when you make an appointment. Please arrive on time – but not 30 minutes early. We have a very small waiting area in the lobby. We want to provide a comfortable, low-stress environment for our patients. If we all work together, we can keep it that way.
-- Please bring dogs in from the parking lot on a 6 foot leash. If you have a retractable leash, lock it at 6 feet so that your dog can’t freely run ahead of you. Cats need to be in carriers. The clinic is next to a loud and busy road where ambulances and fire trucks go by regularly with their sirens blaring. We want all pets to stay safe during their vet visit.
-- Due to the large volume of patients we are seeing currently, please call or text us when you arrive. That way, if the lobby is full, we can clean exam rooms, check previous patients out, and prepare for your pet to come inside. We want to avoid any unpleasant confrontations, scares, or mishaps in the lobby. Again, this is for the safety and well being of everyone.
We appreciate your cooperation in our efforts to make Animal House a safe and happy place to bring your pets! 😎
