A very wet week at the Brownland Autumn Challenge, but a great week nonetheless! 🌧️🩵

Despite the rain and puddles, some of the ponies still got to play on Sunday, including Simba, who exceeded all of our expectations at his very first horse show!

So proud of this crew for making the most of a soggy weekend. Looking forward to next week! 🔙🔜

Introducing Dom! 🤍

Dom is a 16.1 hh, 8 year old Zangersheide gelding located in Huntsville AL!

He’s super fun on the flat with all the buttons, brave and confident to the jumps, and has the best in your pocket personality. Dom will take a joke and is definitely much more whoa than go.

He is such a cool guy and has been a joy to have in the barn!

Please message for more info!

Introducing Lapinwood IM Swansong aka our pride and joy, our little meatball, our Stella Bella 💞

In January of this year, we attempted to start Stella. Keyword being “attempted,” as this was one of the hardest ponies we’ve ever worked with. After giving it many tries and failing, we gave up and put her back out to pasture. A month later, we got her back out and tried going over how to lunge again. When we couldn’t get her to do anything other than go backwards on the lunge line, we figured we might as well just get on and see what would happen. It took some time initially, but then everything instantly clicked, and Stella then became one of the easiest ponies we’d ever worked with, and we both fell in love with her.

Fast forward to last week: we had an extra stall for the week at Brownland and were debating on who to throw on the trailer last minute…Who did we decide to take, you ask? Stella!

Marybella Bailey did Stella in the 2’ warmup division on Thursday, and then mhrodetoponyfinals , who had never ridden Stella before the show, put some lovely rides on Stella in the Children’s Pony division. The entire week Stella marched around the ring with junior riders only and, other than a few minor bobbles here and there, went around like a little pro.

We love all of the ponies that come through our program, but Stella will forever be one we cherish immensely. We are so grateful to our partner Brooke Harschutz for breeding this incredible pony and for trusting us to give Stella the foundation she needs before she finds her lease family (which she’ll be ready for soon 😉)

Large Regular “Be Mine” wants to Be Yours!!!😉

8 year old large Welsh pony mare available for L or S!

Great step, auto lead changes and never peaks at the jumps. Doesn’t need to see the ring before she shows!

Very sweet and fun mare to have in the barn and would be happy doing any job.

Located in Huntsville AL! Please pm for more info.
