Want a free nail trim for your pet and a way to make Christmas brighter for a kid? 🎁🐾

This season, Animal Ark Animal Hospital is collecting shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, a ministry that delivers gifts to children around the world. To say thanks, we’re giving you a free nail trim for every shoebox you donate.

🐾 1 shoebox = 1 FREE nail trim
🐾 2 shoeboxes = 2 FREE nail trims
(Limit of two free nail trims per household.)

How to join in:

Fill a shoebox with gifts for a child in need.
Include a $10 donation to cover international shipping.
Drop it off at Animal Ark by Friday, November 6.

⏰ The deadline is coming up fast, so grab the kids and start packing this week.

🚨 Lilies and cats do NOT mix. 🚨

Just a nibble of a leaf, a lick of pollen off their fur, or a sip of vase water can cause acute kidney failure in cats. 😿

⚠️ Toxic to cats: Easter, Tiger, Stargazer, Asiatic, and Japanese show lilies, plus daylilies. If it's a "lily," assume it's dangerous.

👀 Signs to watch for: Vomiting, Excessive Drooling, Lethargy or hiding, Not eating

Symptoms can start within hours, and kidney damage can follow in 1 to 3 days.

✅ If your cat may have touched a lily:
1. Remove the plant and wipe any pollen off your cat's coat.
2. Call your vet or an emergency animal hospital right away, even if your cat seems fine.
3. Don't wait for symptoms, and don't try to induce vomiting unless a vet tells you to.
You can also call the ASPCA Poison Control Center at 888-426-4435 (a consultation fee may apply).

⏱️ Fast treatment makes a huge difference. Early care gives cats the best chance at a full recovery.
