As November is the national month for gratitude, we wanted to start it out by thanking our friends at Golden Post Kennel.

Our case managers found this sweet shepherd roaming as a stray. After we couldn't find a microchip or locate an owner, we brought her to Golden Post for a temporary refuge so that we can arrange a transfer to one of our rescue partners. We have named this sweet girl Opal and she is enjoying the good life while she waits for transfer.

We wouldn't have been able to help Opal without Golden Post's care and support and for that, we hope you'll join us in saying 'Thank You!' to everyone there. 💚

Looking for a career working with animals? Golden post is searching for a dedicated animal caretaker to start as soon as possible . All team members work split shifts 6-10 am and 3-6 pm, five days on two days off. Work involves all aspects of care for dogs and cats. We are seeking full-time, permanent employees . HE HAS BEEN APPREHENDED AND IS UNDER MAXIMUM SECURITY!!!

! Golden Post Kennel had an escapee on the afternoon of 1/18 around 1 pm. The missing dog is from the FIDO program in Indy and belongs to a homeless woman. Leo is the dog”s name, he climbed out of a six foot kennel with a top on it and then went over 6 and 4 foot fences. Leo is a brown and white Pitt Bull mix who is very sweet and frightened by his new circumstances. He is a neutered male about 6 years old. If sighted, please contact me at 317-459-4810. A lost report has been filed with Indy Lost Pets.
