You don't have to speak another language to understand your pet's wants and needs! There are six distinct ways your cat is trying to communicate to you. Here's how to spot them and what they might mean. 👇
1. Meowing – Your cat’s main “human language”. They’re most likely asking for food, attention, or something specific.
2. Purring – Not just happiness! It can also mean your cat is stressed, sick, or self-soothing.
3. Litter Box Changes – Going outside the box is a red flag for stress, discomfort, or health issues.
4. “Halloween Cat” Pose – Arched back + puffed tail = “I’m scared—leave me alone!”
5. Tail Talk – Upright = happy/curious, twitching = annoyed, tucked = nervous.
6. Rubbing – Those head bumps and leg rubs = love… and marking you as theirs. 🐾
