What to Expect at a Meet & Greet with Me!
A meet & greet is a relaxed, no-pressure visit designed to make sure I’m a great fit (for you and your pets).
Here’s what we’ll cover:
🐾 Pet introductions
I’ll meet your pets in their home environment so I can observe their personalities, energy levels, and comfort with a new person. This is especially important for dogs who may be shy, protective, or overly excited.
🐾 Routine & care details
We’ll go over feeding schedules, walking routines, medications (if applicable), litter boxes, yard access, and any quirks or preferences your pets have.
🐾 Behavior & safety discussion
I’ll ask about leash manners, reactivity, anxiety, escape attempts, resource guarding, or anything else that helps me keep your pet safe and stress-free.
🐾 Home logistics
We’ll review entry instructions, alarms, parking, supplies, trash days, and where everything is located so visits run smoothly while you’re away.
🐾 Emergency planning
We’ll confirm your vet, emergency contacts, and what steps you’d like taken if an unexpected situation arises.
🐾 Questions (yours & mine!)
This is your chance to ask anything! My experience, insurance, visit structure, updates, or how I handle specific situations. No question is a silly question!
