If you can’t remember, it may be time to get one on the calendar! Dental disease is incredibly common in dogs and cats, and a lot of what’s going on happens below the gumline where we can’t see it.

A professional dental cleaning helps remove plaque and tartar and gives us a chance to check for any problems that may be hiding beneath the surface.

Today, we’re pausing to remember the pets who may no longer be by our side, but whose love remains a part of us forever. 🌈🐾

Today, on Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, we remember the ones whose favorite spots still feel a little too empty, whose names still bring a smile through the tears, and who we’d give anything to have back for one more ordinary day.

This year, our hearts are especially with Denali, the little True Friend who was so deeply loved and recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 💔🌈

Her life may have been small in size, but the love she gave and the mark she left were anything but.

Denali reminds us that it’s not the length of a life that determines how much it mattered. It’s the love, memories, and moments that remain long after they’re gone.

What to Bring to Your Kitten’s First Vet Visit? 📋

☑️ Your kitten in a secure carrier — ideally one that opens from the top or comes apart in the middle
☑️ A familiar blanket or towel that smells like home
☑️ Favorite treats: Churu, freeze-dried treats, or whatever your kitten loves
☑️ A favorite toy for comfort and distraction
☑️ Previous medical records and vaccine/deworming information
☑️ A fresh stool sample if requested by Dr. Peeler
☑️ A list of questions on nutrition, litter box habits, behavior, vaccines, parasites, insurance, etc.
☑️ Any medications or supplements your kitten is currently receiving
☑️ Videos/photos of anything you’ve noticed at home: sneezing, coughing, unusual behavior, litter box concerns, etc.

Many of you know our beloved technician, Heather. If she has been a part of your pets’ healing or wellness journey, you know the size of her heart and the passion she brings to her calling every day.
