🐾 Experienced Groomer Wanted 🐾
Flying Fur Mobile Grooming is looking for an experienced professional groomer to join our team!
We're looking for someone who is confident working independently, takes pride in producing quality work, and most importantly, treats every dog with patience and kindness.
Our groomers work one on one with their clients in fully equipped mobile grooming vans. No kennels. No crowded salon. No stopping mid groom to answer phones or deal with scheduling. Our office team handles appointments and client communication so our groomers can focus on their dogs.
Applicants should have professional grooming experience and be comfortable completing grooms independently from start to finish. Mobile grooming experience is not required. We can teach you the mobile side of things.
We offer established clientele, very competitive pay plus tips, a supportive office team, and the independence of working one on one with your dogs each day. We take care of sharpening and offer opportunities for fun bonuses.

🐾 Puppy Grooming Starts Before They Need a Haircut 🐾
One of the best things you can do for your new puppy is introduce them to professional grooming early.
The sweet spot for that first puppy introduction is usually around 10 to 12 weeks old. And here's the important part: we aren't expecting your baby puppy to behave like a seasoned grooming pro. In fact, most puppies are not ready for a complete haircut during their first appointment. Or even their second or third.
That's perfectly okay.
Puppy introductions are about having fun. Meeting the groomer. Exploring the grooming van. Hearing the dryer. Feeling the clippers. Standing on the table. Having their feet, face and ears handled. Getting lots of praise and learning that this whole grooming business is really no big deal.
We may trim a little here, tidy a little there and accomplish whatever your puppy is comfortable with that day. The goal isn't a perfect haircut. The goal is a confident puppy.
This is also why choosing the right groomer for those early experiences matters so much. Puppies should be guided, encouraged and taught. They should never be forced through an experience simply because we want to finish the haircut.
There will be plenty of time for beautiful full grooms later. Those first few appointments are an investment in the hundreds of grooming appointments your dog may have throughout their lifetime.
Start early. Keep it positive. Let them learn.
A perfect puppy groom isn't a perfect haircut. It's a puppy who leaves thinking grooming was pretty darn fun. ❤️
