Get ready for some seriously good news! Nurse Winnie Lou has officially given Dr. Mary Hall her discharge orders, so she’ll be back in action this week and ready to give her patients hugs and kisses after returning from capsular reconstruction surgery!

This advanced orthopedic procedure rebuilds damaged capsular tissue using a biological graft (allograft or autograft). It not only restores stability, improves joint biomechanics, and relieves pain, but with a few added recovery precautions, Dr. Hall is basically Steve Austin 🤖🦾 Welcome back, your Animalia family missed you dearly!

➡️ A reminder, Animalia will be open this Saturday, 8-1pm for both well and sick or urgent needs by appointment. We encourage medication and prescription food requests be made 24-48 hours in advance to allow time for veterinarian approval & non-time sensitive technician appointments be scheduled during normal weekday hours. If you have ever walked through our door, you’ve likely had the pleasure of seeing her beautiful smile behind the front desk. We’ve been blessed beyond measure to have Anne Claire as a leader and friend, going above and beyond for our clients, patients, and her team. Sir Milo, Tater, Spencer, Gracie and Leila made us proud as they visited the residents at Morning Pointe Assisted Living for canine enrichment, delivering smiles along the way!

We’re so proud of our pet therapy program and the joy it brings our local assisted living residents, but we often forget to mention how important it is for our senior pets in return. The love and attention they receive during each visit is a beautiful thing to witness and we appreciate the continued opportunity to spend time with our neighbors every month!

Throughout his time at Animalia, Dr. Miguel Cruz has provided compassionate care, dedication, and support to our clients and patients. Although goodbyes are never easy, we look forward to seeing his familiar face as he continues to provide advanced diagnostic services. Sending well wishes and a great big “see you soon” as we share this personal message from the doodle dad himself!

“After much reflection, I have decided to step away from my role at Animalia and begin a new chapter in my veterinary journey. At this stage of my life and career, I feel called to embrace a new direction. As part of that path, I will expand my focus on diagnostic ultrasound services, an area of medicine that has become an important passion for me over the last several years.

This decision was not easy because caring for your pets has truly been an honor. I am deeply grateful for the trust, kindness, and relationships I have shared with so many wonderful clients and patients throughout my time at Animalia.

I also want to thank the doctors, technicians, and staff at Animalia for their support and dedication. Thank you again for allowing me to be part of your pets’ lives and for being part of my journey!” 💕

We’re thrilled to partner with our friends again this year by sponsoring a summer of live music and trivia nights at everyone’s favorite boathouse. Grab a drink, comfort eats and good vibes every weekend!

Live music weekends at the Boat House are officially making their comeback 🎶

This Saturday, we’ve got Music in the Park featuring the Sam Hunter Trio at 6:30 PM! Grab a drink, hang by the water, and enjoy a night of great music with us.

After Memorial Day, our summer hours will be in full swing with Paddle Dog open daily!

Live trivia nights are coming soon, plus weekends packed with live music — we can’t wait for summer at the Boat House!

We’re celebrating a milestone 10 year Animalia anniversary with our lead licensed veterinary technician and Jack of all trades, Misty! This lady truly requires a coatrack to hold the many hats she wears around our hospital, from surgery, pharmacy, admin, and beyond - Misty helps us stay on task with ever changing shift schedules and protocol updates. We’re thankful she hasn’t retired to live that beach life just yet and hope to celebrate another 10 years if she’ll have us!
