Ranch-Bred Heeler / Mini Aussie Cross Seeking Working Home

We are looking for the right home for a 1-year-old neutered Heeler/Mini Aussie cross who was raised around horses and cattle and has strong working instincts.
About Him:
β’ Neutered, up to date on vaccines
β’ Weighs 46 lbs
β’ Excellent on a leash β never pulls
β’ Solid heel and sit, nearly finished with down and roll over
β’ Loves obstacle play and interaction with our daughter
β’ Comfortable in the barn and kennels well
β’ Loves to lay with you and be loved on
β’ Has lived as an outdoor dog
β’ Social, but plays hard β best suited for:
β’ A home with larger, active dogs, or
β’ An only-dog working home
Working Ability:
β’ Strong natural draw to cattle
β’ Not intimidated β will bite cattle that wonβt move
β’ Extremely focused and driven (think retriever-to-a-ball level obsession)
β’ With time and experience, could be developed into a very valuable cattle dog
Temperament:
β’ Thrives on interaction and purpose
β’ Wants to be someoneβs right-hand man
β’ Protective of his home and territory
β’ Needs a job and consistent engagement to be at his best
Why Weβre Rehoming:
With travel and a busy schedule, we donβt have the time this dog deserves. We are committed to finding him a home where his drive and intelligence will be appreciated and put to use.
