Safety You Can’t Always See!

When you leave your dog with us, you’re trusting us with a member of your family and we take that responsibility seriously.

At K9 Tailshakers, we’ve invested in multiple layers of safety and monitoring to help protect the dogs in our care:

🌡️ 24/7 Temperature & Humidity Monitoring
Our system continuously monitors the environment inside our kennel and alerts us if temperatures rise or fall.

📍 GPS Tracking Collars
Any dog that leaves our facility wears a GPS collar, allowing us to know their location at all times. For example for transportation or walks.

📹 16 Indoor/Outdoor Security Cameras
Our camera system provides extensive coverage throughout our facility and property, giving us another important layer of oversight.

🚨 Monitored Security & Alarms
Our security system monitors doors opening and closing, windows, movement, breaks and more, providing protection throughout the facility!

And our management team can access these systems remotely from our phones, helping us stay connected to what’s happening at K9 Tailshakers even when we’re away from the building.

These are things most clients may never see, and that’s okay.

They’re there because your dog’s safety is never an afterthought at K9 Tailshakers. It’s built into how we operate.

🐾 Training in Action at K9 Tailshakers! 🐾

From our dogs currently working their way through Day Training to our K9 Tailshakers Alumni coming back to practice, play, and keep those skills sharp, we love watching their progress!

Training isn’t just about teaching commands. It’s about building communication, confidence, better manners, and real-life skills that help dogs and their families enjoy life together.

And graduation doesn’t mean the learning stops! Our Alumni dogs have opportunities to come back, continue practicing, strengthen their skills, and have a whole lot of fun along the way.

🎉🫧 ENRICHMENT FOAM PARTY WEEK = PURE CHAOS… the fun kind! 🐾

Today’s enrichment assignment:
✔ Zoomies through mountains of foam
✔ Chase bubbles like they’re escaping squirrels
✔ Wear a foam beard with pride
✔ Get gloriously soaked
✔ Go home completely exhausted

We’re pretty sure our enrichment dogs believe this is what heaven looks like. 😆

At K9 Tailshakers, enrichment means exercising the mind, body, and spirit… and sometimes getting covered from nose to tail in bubbles!

BREAKING NEWS: Local Daycare Dogs have completely lost their minds… and we’re here for it.

It’s Foam Party Week at K9 Tailshakers, and the evidence is everywhere:
• Zoomies: Activated.
• Tongues: Out.
• Bubbles: Everywhere.
• Dignity: Left at the gate.

Our Structured Daycare pups are diving, bouncing, chasing, and making the most of every foamy second. The best part? They go home happy, exercised, mentally enriched… and maybe just a little fluffier than when they arrived.
