Tin Woof Inn Pet Retreat- Frankfort

WAIT…what did we just say?! 😱

We don’t WANT to encourage or create resource guarding with our dogs, so if you’ve ever been told to take your dog’s food away “to teach him,” take that tidbit and throw it STRAIGHT in the garbage.

Taking your dog’s food away in that fashion does not make him/her see you as predictable or reliable. This can backfire and create or worsen a problem.
Doing this is an easy way to create resource guarding and possessiveness, as food insecurity has now been created.

Your dog shouldn’t harbor fear that you will take away his/her food without reason or warning.

Already have a pup who’s possessive of certain things or people? Let us help you deal with that. (But don’t accidentally create an issue where there wasn’t one before 😉)

Did you know we offer specialty fashion color services as part of our grooming services?! 😱

That’s right! 😃
🌈 Add some fun to your pet’s coat with a splash of color or even a full design!
🐾 Thinking a pawdicure instead? Opt for a festive nail color to polish those toes.
(All pet-safe and toxin-free)

Every Opportunity is a Training Opportunity!

In all of our puppy and dog training programs, we work to show you how you can train through everyday life.
• Cooking dinner? ✅
• Checking the mail? ✅
• Running to the bank? ✅
—and a million more!

Training should be fun and fit into your daily life. This makes sure it’s an easy add in, and you’re not forced to carve out extra time in an already busy schedule.

Give our trainer, Johnathan, a call to see how he can help!
