Fall is becoming my favorite season, except for the fact winter is soon to follow. Things slow down slightly, and there’s even a few minutes for some walks around the farm. We are so blessed to have the beauty of God’s creation right out of our back door. And if you get far enough away, you can’t hear the bucks blubbering and yelling. ADGA registered buckling available. I know someone is out there that could use this handsome guy. His dam finished at one show, going grand in all 3 rings. His maternal sister finished as a 2 year old FF this year. AND his sire needs one more leg to finish. This guy is the result of a repeat breeding from last year because I like his full brother so much that we retained, who also just went RGCH at a show the other weekend. I made the announcement flyers below for him and decided to tweak them a little to show all the lovely goats related to this buckling. Discount available to performance herds. Here are our breeding plans for this fall. You’ll notice a few of these girls have missing boyfriends. We have exciting plans for them, and we’ll hopefully post them when we can confirm pregnancies. McKinley also isn’t on here; she will be taking a break next year after a rough kidding this past spring.

We do have a waitlist for each pair. It’s free to be placed on the list; just contact us and let us know what you’re interested in. We have the right to change anything on the schedule and to retain any kids that are born regardless of the waitlist. We show, hope to do LA again, and have more on milk test next year. In Frankfort, KY, but can work with transporters.

The KY Mini Dairy Goat Classic is always a great show to end our season. Thank you to the judges and show staff for their work to put this show on. Also to everyone that came together to make sure seniors and bucks made numbers. Here are our highlights.

Yesterday was an absolute whirlwind. We put on our first goat show and got to bring home 2 finished champions! Putting on a show and trying to show at the same time was definitely not easy. We had no expectations, and honestly, without Jennifer's help, the girl’s udders probably wouldn't have even been clipped. Thank you to everyone that helped us and to the judges for the time they spent evaluating many highly competitive does and their explanations for placings. We had 3 does in the lineup in the first senior doe ring and 2 does in the lineup in the second ring with 4 classes since we scratched McKinley. McKinley’s daughter Primrose Hill A Perfect Storm, owned by Jennifer, was also reserve champion both senior doe rings!

When the Cardinals contacted us about a doe for their program, we offered them Sheba (High Lonesome BS She’s a Hit), somewhat reluctantly. Sheba was a favorite from the time she was born and had already earned her restricted leg as a junior. But, having too many does her same age, and knowing she was getting a great home where she would be shown, we knew it would be a good move for her and us. Getting a message with this pic attached was the best ever! Thank you to the Cardinals for getting her out and letting her shine.
