Bill also took WB Smart Little Inferno (Ellie) for her first show outing. She is such a talented girl and we can't wait to see what her future holds!

Don't get a "No Score" this year when schooling!

Everyone is pretty familiar with getting a “0” score (whether it was accidental or on purpose). Maybe you spun 5 times, circled the wrong way, went two handed, or went in the show pen to school a pattern.

This is not the same as getting a “No Score”, which has to be formally reported by the judge/show stewards to NRHA. “No Scores” can affect your good standing with NRHA. “No Scores” are given for illegal use of equipment, horse abuse, failure to present horse for an equipment check, infractions of state/federal laws, and more.

❗However, NEW IN 2026! No Scores will be given for failure to dress appropriately. Even if your intention is to school a class, you MUST dress yourself AND YOUR HORSE appropriately:

-Long sleeves with collars, buttons, snaps or zipper.
-Long sleeves must be rolled down.
-NO sweatshirts/hoodies.
-Vests/Jackets may be worn over an appropriate shirt.
-Must wear a Western hat or safety helmet, boots, western saddle, and western bridle.
-Chaps are recommended for classes that have $2,000 or more added money.
-Illegal to show with a braided tail
-Illegal to show with a tail bag
-Illegal to show with a belly band

What an exciting couple of weeks it's been for our barn!
First, our Reiners had a productive weekend at Central Ohio Reining Horse Association. Great rides Jeannette, Anne, and Janet!
Then the following weekend we headed to Foundation Quarter Horse Registry - Michigan Affiliate. Everyone had so much fun, we can't wait to go back in June! Great job Sandy, Sara, Stephanie, Lisa, and Kailee.
