Our wonderful, amazing, selfless friend Katie was involved in a terrible car accident this morning on her way to the coffee trailer for her usual toasty cloud order. She is in critical condition and while a lot remains unknown, she and her family have a long road ahead of them.
Katie is the definition of selfless. She is a hardworking mom of two, a wife, friend, EMT, and recently became a paramedic. She spends so much of her life taking care of others, and now is on the other end of that.

On a personal note, I joke that Katie is my son Cole’s future mother-in-law. Our kids “married” each other with ring pops in my kitchen this spring, so needless to say, she and her family are very special to us. She is a regular at the coffee trailer and our staff and I always look forward to seeing her at the window.
Instead of spending these last weeks of summer with her kids and preparing for her oldest to start kindergarten, Katie is facing a long recovery and her family is navigating a complete change in their lives.

So this Saturday, we’re doing what we can to help. 100% of our sales will be donated to Katie and her family.

We’ve also shared their GoFundMe in the comments for anyone who would like to support them directly.
If you can’t donate, sharing, praying, and keeping Katie and her family in your thoughts help as well.❤️

Urns by HTW is fortunate enough to employ Sarah, the creator of Ember & Bloom Design and Laser Engraving. She used her design skills to create our 2026 catalog and has been instrumental in the shop with her skill, her passion, and her sweet spirit.

Please go check out her work, give her a follow, and share!

✨ Two weeks ago, Ember & Bloom Design had just 1 follower. ✨

Today, we’re at 91. 🤍

Every follow, like, comment, share, and order has meant so much to me. THANK YOU for supporting this little dream of mine.

I’d love to reach my next milestone of 100 followers!

To help get us there:

Urns by HTW's shop dog, Oliver, got groomed yesterday by the phenomenal Tara of Pretty Paws By Tara

Every month Tara puts up a new, themed photo backdrop so when Oliver goes in for a groom, she also takes a fun photo! I'm not sure how she gets him to sit so still!
