I met Andy and his son Jayden a few years back at The AquaSwap hosted by C.O.A.S.T. Fish Club. We were still operating at King Koi Goldfish and only attended as a guest. At the time we had several fish racks at the shop for baby goldfish with lots of stock and needed a solution to keep the fish happy as well as maintain the water quality without having to run multiple HOB or canister filters. I came across their booth at the show and I was immediately greeted by Jayden who told me all about the filters. What started as a school project to recycle, reduce and reuse plastic became the prototype to these amazing filters you see in the video. He explained how they use K1 fluidized media and increase the bioload capacity all while saving space being vertical, energy since they run on air driven pumps and look cool being available in several different colors. I was so impressed by Jayden and Andy and wanted to show my support as well as try something new that would hopefully be the solution we were looking for. I bought a couple of them for the shop and for personal use in my ponds. We hooked them up and yes they are a little floaty at first but after running them for a night they eventually all settled down and then the magic happened. The media started to dance and move as intended and after a week we immediately started seeing results. After a month we were convinced this was one of the best filters and solutions for our set ups. Even my pond at home with full size 6-8 goldfish were loving all the extra airation and filtration. My water was crystal clear and the fish looked super active. I contacted Andy and told him "Hey we gotta have more of these!" Not just for me or for the shop I wanted all our customers to also use them because we believed in the product and love supporting the fish community and the fact that Andy's whole family was involved in creating this even the ones. We worked on a deal and had these available for everyone In store and online. We couldn't keep them in stock they were selling out faster than Andy could build them. Years later we still stand behind this product. Contact Festae Factory to get yours today! Now available in Nano Size. 🫧🫧
