🐾 FOUND PUPPY — OWNER SEARCH / POTENTIAL REHOMING 🐾

My daughter found this little dude on the side of the road, and we brought him home to get him cleaned up and cared for. ❤️ He’s approximately 10 weeks old, very skinny, and appears to have worms.

Does anyone recognize him or know who he belongs to? If you believe he’s yours, please message me with proof of ownership.

If no one claims him, we’ll be looking for an approved, loving home for him. If we cannot find the right fit, he’ll be going to BRAWA.

A few things potential adopters need to understand:
🐾 He still needs his puppy vaccinations.
🐾 He’ll likely need to be dewormed again.
🐾 He will need to be neutered.
🐾 He’s had flea baths and been cleaned up, but he’ll still need flea treatment medication.

I already have 4 dogs and cannot keep him long-term.

If you aren’t prepared or financially able to provide the veterinary care, medications, and supplies this little guy needs, please DO NOT contact me about adopting him. As cute as he is, he deserves more than a home that cannot afford to care for him properly. At that point, he’d honestly be better off going to BRAWA, where I don’t think he’d wait long for a home.

This isn’t about finding him just anywhere. It’s about finding the right home. ❤️🏡

Please share so we can hopefully find his family or a responsible, approved adopter! 🐶

Meet Heat Lightning, a 2021, 16.2hh OTTB gelding with a big personality, athletic build, willing attitude, and tons of potential for his next career! 🐎❤️

He’s a cuddly, curious, in-your-pocket sweetheart who loves treats, attention, and being part of whatever is happening.

🏇 UNDER SADDLE

* Willing and eager to please
* Athletic with plenty of speed when asked
* Curious rather than spooky
* Learning new cues and expectations quickly
* Generally patient and accepting with his riders
* Sometimes a little lazy 😂

Important: Heat Lightning is NOT a finished riding horse. He’s a young OTTB still transitioning from the racetrack into his next career. He needs continued training and is not a push-button beginner horse.

$28,740 in career earnings

🧬 PEDIGREE
By Cloud Computing, 2017 Preakness Stakes (G1) winner, out of After the Rose. His pedigree includes Maclean’s Music, Distorted Humor, Pioneerof the Nile, Empire Maker, A.P. Indy, Unbridled, and Seattle Slew.

Bringing in this fall season with new experiences, new people, and a whole new side of the horse world. 🧡🍂

I had an absolute BLAST spending three days at the Kentucky Horse Park for the 2026 Jump Start Horse Trials! 🐎✨

For the first time, I got to step into the world of eventing and spend my days out on the cross-country course helping with jump judging.

It was such a cool experience getting to watch incredible horses and riders take on the course, meet so many new people, and learn about a completely different side of the horse industry. 🩵

Here are a few moments I managed to capture from Day 1! 📸
And yes…
there’s plenty more to come from this weekend once I get through all the videos from Days 2 & 3!

What a way to welcome a new season. 🍂🐴

🍂🐴 WE’RE FULLY BOOKED! 🐴🍂

September is officially FULL, and all currently posted October spots are booked too! 🥹🩵

A HUGE thank you to everyone who continues to support Eowyn Farm and trusts us with your riding journeys. We’re so grateful! 🐴🩵

✨ More October availability will be posted soon!

Also, we’re still very behind on posting lesson highlights, On The Go client highlights, and everyday farm life from late August through September. 😂 We’ve just been SO busy and booked that any downtime has either been spent sleeping or catching up on life at home with the kiddos.

It’s a blessing, though, and I’m definitely not complaining! 🥹🩵

Thank you for keeping us busy! 🐴
