Get ready - this Friday January 30th at the Indiana State Fairgrounds we are hosting a German Shorthaired Pointer Breed Specialty at Indy Winter Classic Dog Show ! Meet us at Ring 5 at 12:50pm.

The German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Indiana in conjunction with the Greater Indianapolis Brittany Club will be hosting a two day event with the opportunity to title with four qualifying passes this weekend.

We still have a few spots available for last minute entries. We will have food, family, and fun!

Whether you are Junior, Senior, or Master Hunter we would love to see you and your dog at the fields. We will also be hosting a water test ( novice) for breeds who require the test to title and for those who simply enjoy the water and want to break up the day of field testing. We will take day of entries for the WATER TEST ONLY.

We conveniently accept Zelle as a payment and entries can be emailed to the test secretary.

While animal photography is usually my forte, I changed some things up for a friend where it was a must to have the we**ie herd present.

Stitch developed an abscess after training in a field. I am so grateful for working in ER vet med. We were in and out in just an hour, including procedure time. I am thankful that my developing scientist had the opportunity to advocate for her dog and observe the procedure. While the contents were a little much for her soft tummy, she opted to comfort Stitch at her head and hold blow by oxygen steady. She cared for her dog in the car and helped sanitize the kennel to ensure a healthy healing environment.
A good dog is worth their weight in gold ✨️ It brings joy to my heart seeing my daughter grow up with a shorthair. She will hold these memories of her and her dog for a lifetime ❤️

Sweet Alice is learning to "tuck" into tight spaces for her continued public access training. This will benefit us at busy restraunts, airports, and many other scenarios.
