Please make sure car doors are locked in this extreme heat. With the heat index 109 today that would be deadly inside a car. Little ones have died crawling into unlocked cars. Leave those furbabies home in the AC! And only walk them in the early morning hours but please check the pavement first. If it is too hot for your own bare feet it is too hot for their's too.

Please leave your dogs at home inside in the AC when it is this hot outside. It is currently 105 degrees outside. Yes this is my truck picking up the heat off the pavement. So why the hell did I just see three different people walking their dogs across this hot pavement going into Home Depot. They could have carried them inside. It took everything in me to not say something. Leave you dogs home when it is this hot. Would you walk your kids bare footed across hot pavement?

I will step away from my soap box now!

Hope everyone is have a safe and happy 4th of July!
