Hello Facebook Labrador Retriever Fans!!

We have a litter of 7-week-old Lab puppies who are ready for their ”furr”ever families.

Each puppy comes with a pre-paid full AKC registration, microchipped, the microchip has a lifetime registration with AKC Reunite, first round of vaccinations and deworming, cleared vet examination, swimming daily, leash-trained, dew claws removed, and nearly potty trained.

Both parents are on-site (Dante and Lucy) and available to visit.

We currently have four puppies available—two chocolate males, one yellow male, and one yellow female.

Please message us with any questions about our placement process—we know these puppies will be a wonderful addition to your family!!

Hello from Kramer Cottages Labrador Retrievers!

My husband and I have been in the Breeding business for quite some time and are quite proud of what we do. We have been so blessed over the years to place our puppies with fantastic families. However, one thing has become a “constant” if you will, with regards to the people who contact us, and that is the at times, immovable consistency of color. I noticed this in the past but it seems to be getting more and more prevalent. We had a potential customer who stated that they “always had a Yellow and that’s what they were sticking with, period.” So, I took the opportunity to question him on this and this is what I have discovered. People in general seem to be “comparison persons.” I am guilty that when my children were born, of quizzically wondering why one did not act like the other. Some were satisfied to play alone for hours whilst others had to be entertained. Some were more easily potty trained, and some became verbal earlier than other siblings. Point being is that everyone and every animal is different. I asked the gentleman I was talking to, “Even though you get the same color of Lab ‘everytime’, do you find yourself comparing him or her to your previous animal with regards to temperament or hitting milestones,” to which he replied that he did. My response to him was, “Then you are not being fair to your puppy.” Every animal will be different and because of this, it shouldn’t be compared to previously loved family members. I urge you to consider NOT getting the same color that you had had before but to perhaps “change it up a bit.” Whilst all Labs are wonderful loving family pets, they are all distinctly different. Finally, I convinced this gentleman to take a black lab from our litter. The feedback has been phenomenal. He discovered that this current puppy had a totally different personality than his previous dog but he was able to accept this more readily, and be able to enjoy his current puppy whilst still remembering his precious animal dearly. Some people will simply stay the course and continue to get puppy after puppy of the same color, but I do urge all potential Labrador owners that when it comes time to introduce a new pet, that you step out of your comfort zone and try something a bit different. You’ll be pleased and feel blessed that you did. ❤️🐶

PEOPLE! Anyone looking for a Lab before Christmas Time, DO NOT contact me. Our pups are just 3 weeks old and will not be placed until they are 8 weeks old. I have my own theory on why people buy pups before Christmas, once the “luster and joy” is over and the hard work begins, most either get rid of the pup or ignore it. Placing one of our puppies of whom we have put round-the-clock care into for 8 weeks on a holiday such as Christmas, always makes me wary. I have had over 178 inquiries for a “Christmas Puppy,” as opposed to my usual 50 or so inquiries during the general time of the year. Secondly, please DO NOT contact us if you are a college student or do not have the room or time for a small pup. Puppies, especially Labs require constant interaction and room to grow and run. Large breeds like Labs grow quickly and if left alone for long periods can become quite destructive. If you want a pet to keep holed up in a room whilst you are in class or out with mates, I would advise that you get a bird, a turtle or a fish. And finally, please do not contact us if you are not willingly able to care for a dog of this size. People who raise their Dogs in a prison like fashion, stuck in kennels or apartments for long periods of time is cruel and it takes away from whom they were truly meant for which is companions, protectors, and friends. ❤️

WTH kind of a day?...
As many of you know, Russ and I began our Labrador Breeding business several years ago. It’s hard work but truly such a joy watching these young pups come into the world and placing them with wonderful families. We have been blessed. 😇. This morning, I walked outside to give Ella her morning dog treat when she was nowhere to be found. Alarmed, I went looking and located her in one of the doghouses with the second of two yellows that she gave birth too. I immediately ran and sqwauked for Russ to come and help. (We thought she would deliver on Monday). So thus began our day at 0815 with two pups delivered. At about 1230 and 7 born Russ states, “Do you think that’s it?” I felt confident that she was done and so she rested until about 1415 when she delivered one and then two more right on the heels of the other. “Okay I said, so 10.” We waited and nothing... then came another at 1605 and one more at 1640. Finally I said, “Cool, she had had a litter of 12 before. I am surprised but they are all healthy.” Good Ella Girl. Twelve pups total. Russ leaves to get dinner, I take a shower. We are sitting on the bed eating for our first time since 0815 this morning and suddenly I look at the surveillance camera and say to Russ, “I gotta move some of the pups, they are getting behind her.” I go out and lo and behold, number 13 has presented himself. Now I am panicked. At 1945 we have been blessed with 13 healthy hungry pups. More to go? Stay tuned...❤️❤️❤️❤️
