If you think you take your lunch break seriously, you haven't seen Jasper on his midday recess! This handsome guy’s afternoon routine involves scouting the yard, finding the most massive branch possible, and performing the ultimate proud-pup strut. 🤪🐕
There is absolutely nothing better than breaking up a busy workday with this level of pure, unadulterated joy. He burns off that afternoon energy, expands his stick collection, and it completely makes his day! ☀️❤️

Today we’re celebrating one very special boy — Jasper! 💙🐾

With those big ears, that happy smile, and a personality that lights up every room, Jasper has a way of making life just a little brighter. 🥰 He’s proof that some of the best moments are found in the simplest things: a walk outside, a little sunshine, a wagging tail, and being surrounded by people who love you.

So today, Jasper gets all the birthday wishes, extra treats, belly rubs, and ALL the attention! 🎂🦴🎈

💜🐾 Tonight, I stepped away from chilling with my sweet boy Jasper 🐾 to spend the evening volunteering at the TCU game alongside my hubby in support of DFW Lab Rescue! And what a fun evening it was! 💜

Even with the nasty rain, we had an absolute blast supporting such a wonderful cause. Sadly, TCU didn’t come away with the win against BYU, but we certainly made some wonderful memories and had a great time doing it!

As much as I love spending time with my furry clients, it’s always special to step away and give back to a cause so close to my heart. Every little bit helps make a difference for the pups waiting for their furever homes! 🐶Win or lose, it was a WIN for rescue! 🐾💜

🐸 Go Frogs! And a huge thank you to everyone who supports DFW Lab Rescue!

Now back to our pre scheduled events me spending the next 9 days with Jasper💜🖤💜🖤

🐾💙 I'm a bit late on this video but😅💙🐾

Someone was just a LITTLE excited when I arrived on Monday!! 😍🐶 That happy puppy dog face, of excitement, and all those wiggles make walking through the door that much sweeter! 🥹💕

I think it's safe to say Jasper was pretty happy to see me, and trust me, the feeling is MUTUAL! 🥰🐾

It's moments like these that make every visit so special. Who needs a welcome committee when you have a Jasper?! 😂💙

🐾💙 16 DAYS OF JASPER FUN, SNUGGLES & SWEETNESS! 💙🐾

And of course, Jasper has made it his personal job to keep an eye on me while I’m working! 👀😂 Apparently, I’m not allowed to work without supervision from this handsome boy! 🥰🐾

Now we just need to wait out all this rain and hope the sunshine makes an appearance soon so this sweet boy can finally enjoy his outdoor walks! ☀️🌧️😅

Thankfully, the past few days have given us just enough sunshine for Jasper to get in some playtime and long walks without getting completely soaked in the process! 😂💙

Here's to hoping for more sunshine, more adventures, and lots more Jasper snuggles! 🐶☀️💕

Awaiting update on the leg..

🚨 URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR HAWK 🚨

This little guy’s name is Hawk. The shelter just reached out asking for help—he needs immediate veterinary care and couldn’t wait. We are jumping into action and getting him to Family Pet Care in Fort Worth, Texas. ❤️‍🩹

The calls never end, and neither do the medical bills. Please help us raise funds for Hawk’s care. Any amount makes a difference, and if you can’t donate, please share.

Today is the day! And we have a really great $500 MATCH available to help make your donation to Spicy Whiskers go even further! ❤️

We’ll be honest… we are still a long way from our $10,000 goal. But we know our community. We’ve watched you rally around Spicy Whiskers time and time again, and we’re hoping we can count on your support again this year.

In 2026, we expect to bring more than 500 cats into Spicy Whiskers. That’s more than 500 cats who will need food, medical care, medications, spay/neuter, supplies, foster care, and so much more.

North Texas Giving Day donations will help carry us through the final months of the year and allow us to keep saying YES when the most vulnerable cats and kittens need us.

🐾🚗 Just another day in the life of Shannon's Critter Care… where apparently EVERYTHING revolves around the fur kids! 😂❤️

The girls headed off to the groomer for their ✨spa day✨ while I got the car an oil change—because even the car has to stay ready for all our adventures! 😂

While I was out, I of course snuck over to my parents’ house to see all my favorite Stam/Mason fur kids 🥹🐾❤️ because how could I possibly be that close and NOT stop for some extra furry love?!

Then it was time to pick up our favorite staycationer, Thomas, who got recruited for an extra-special mission! 🚗🐶

Thomas and I teamed up to help transport THREE adorable cuties who are officially on their way to their forever home in Washington! 🏡❤️🐾

So basically… grooming appointments, car maintenance, surprise visits with my favorite fur kids, a favorite staycationer, and THREE happy tails headed across the country.

Just another busy, chaotic, heart-full day in our little pet-sitting world! 🐾❤️✨
