Somehow Freya is still looking for her family! This gorgeous girl will make a great addition to any family. She is all girl cat!

Freya is a sweet and sassy girl. She is easily won over with Churu and will show you her princess side when it’s time for a snack. She is a very independent cat and plays fiercely. When it’s nap time, she’d like to rest her cute little paw on you.

Freya likes to sit on her window perch and watch the birds and squirrels outside. She enjoys spending time with her human.

💜 CALLIOPE FOUND HER FOREVER 💜

Today is one of those beautiful rescue days that is a little bit happy and a little bit hard. 🥹

Calliope is officially ADOPTED and starting her forever with her new family! 🏡🐾

But we have to give a very special thank you to her foster mom. She loved Calliope, cared for her, helped her feel safe, and became her person while she waited for her forever family. And when you love a foster this much, saying goodbye is never easy.

That’s the hardest part of fostering. You love them like they’re yours, knowing the whole time that the goal is for someone else to fall in love with them too.

Thank you for loving her enough to let her go. 💜

We always say rescue is the bridge, never the destination. Our job is to love them, care for them, and get them ready for the day their family finally finds them.

✨ MADISON IS READY TO FIND HER PEOPLE ✨

Some dogs are chill. Some dogs are cuddly. Some dogs are playful.

Madison said, “Why choose?” 😂

This girl does **nothing at half speed**. She has enough energy for zoomies, playtime, adventures and then, once she’s finally worn herself out, she becomes the biggest snuggle bug you’ve ever met. ❤️

Madison is looking for an **active family who wants a sidekick for life.** She LOVES other dogs and actually does best with a canine sibling because she loves to mimic their behavior. A secure backyard for her zoomies would be a dream, too!

She’s good with **kids, dogs AND cats**. She’s curious about cats but doesn’t seek them out, so she could happily live in a home with one. She doesn’t shed, she’s not a jumper, and she has this magical way of making you fall completely in love with her the second you meet her.

Madison isn’t looking for a perfect family. She’s looking for **HER family.** The people who will give her patience, adventure, playtime, and approximately 47,000 cuddles a day.

Cleo and Groot are the best of friends. We can’t blame them either- they found each other after a rough start. 💜

Cleo and Groot were both adopted separately and returned when their new family could no longer care for them. Both were understandably upset- cats are not huge fans of change. They thought they had found their forever, but ended up back in foster homes.

Our Allie’s Haven foster agreed to see if they were a good match for each other, and it turned out so much better than any of us could have expected. 🥹 They play, cuddle, bathe, and love each other. Groot and Cleo found each other at the perfect time, and helped each other heal.

These two would absolutely love to find their forever home where they can be together. Both are well behaved kitties who love to cuddle and play with their humans. They just ask for a forever home that can really stick this time.

🖤 BLACK DOG APPRECIATION 🖤

Black dogs are often the ones people scroll past, overlook, or never stop long enough to see for who they really are. Whatever the science says about “Black Dog Syndrome,” we know one thing at Allie’s Haven: **a dog’s worth has absolutely nothing to do with the color of their coat.**

So today, we’re celebrating our four beautiful black dogs. 🖤

🐾 **BENNI**
Benni is proof that you should never judge a dog by the first chapter of their story. He’s been on quite the journey with us, and we’re so proud of the progress he’s made while waiting for someone to finally see the amazing dog underneath it all.

🐾 **MERCURY**
Mercury is one of those dogs who deserves to be noticed for more than just his beautiful black coat. He’s waiting for the person who will look a little closer and realize just how special he is.

🐾 **JESSE**
Jesse is a young, playful guy who LOVES the water and would thrive with another dog by his side. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and ready to trade rescue life for a family of his own.

🐾 **AUGUST**
August is another beautiful black dog waiting for someone to stop scrolling and take a second look. Because sometimes the dog you almost passed by ends up being the dog you can’t imagine your life without. 🖤

🌈 Rainbow Bridge Day🌈

Today, we remember the animals who crossed the Rainbow Bridge while in our care. The ones who may have only been with us for a short time, but left paw prints on our hearts forever. 🤍

And today, we especially remember **Allie Mae**.

Without Allie, our founder Robin may have never created Allie’s Haven. Her life became the beginning of a mission, and her memory continues to live on in every animal we rescue, every life we save, and every second chance we give.

Together, we save animals from all walks of life, and every one of them becomes part of Allie’s story.

Today, we remember them. We honor them. And we promise to keep going for them. 🌈🐾

Honey is the kind of dog who wants to be your best friend. She’s sweet, affectionate, playful, incredibly smart, and SO eager to please. She loves toys, playing fetch, going for walks, car rides, and curling up for some good cuddles.

She’s leash trained, crate trained, house trained, great with other dogs, and a quick learner. 🥹

Honey is looking for a home without cats or small children, and someone who will give her the structure, patience, and love she deserves.

She has SO much love to give. We just need to find the person who gets to experience it. ❤️

Eevee has A LOT of love to give to her forever family. 🖤

Eevee asks to be picked up, will wrap her front legs around your neck, and then give head boops. Be ready to hold her for a little bit when she is there, because she doesn’t let go. 🥹

She has no fear, is chatty, playful, and a total cuddle bug. Eevee is very smart. She enjoys catnip and a little water playtime. Basically the full kitten package in one sleek little body.

Her foster mom says that she would like to be adopted with her siblings or on her own. She can be particular about her cat friends.

Today we celebrate the dogs who have changed our lives… and the ones still waiting for someone to change theirs.

Every dog that comes through Allie’s Haven has a story. Some were abandoned. Some were neglected. Some have never known what it feels like to be safe.

But we believe every single one deserves a chance to be loved. ❤️

The funny thing about rescue dogs is that we think we’re saving them… but somehow they end up saving us right back.

So today, celebrate your dogs. Share a rescue. Donate if you can. Foster if you’re able. Adopt if your heart is ready.

Because every dog deserves a family, a soft bed, and a lifetime of love. 🐶💜
