Today, we honor sweet Remus Piper.🐾

Remus had a gentle way of bringing comfort and love into every room. He loved his toy fish, churro cat treats, and most of all, spending time cuddled up and loafing beside the ones he loved.

Whether he was enjoying his favorite treats, playing with his fish, or simply relaxing close by, Remus made every moment feel a little warmer. His sweet presence and loving spirit will always be remembered.

In Loving Memory of Remus,
It was an Honor to be of Service.

Happy Fun Fact Friday!

Meet the cobalt blue lobster — the ocean’s rare little celebrity! This bright blue beauty gets its stunning color from a genetic mutation that changes the way its shell pigment shows up, giving it that almost glowing, electric-blue look.

And here’s the wild part — blue lobsters are estimated to be about 1 in 2 million, making them one of the rarest catches in the sea.

Rare, vibrant, and almost too bright to be real — the cobalt blue lobster is one of the ocean’s most unforgettable little wonders.

Happy Fun Fact Friday!

Meet the red-lipped batfish: Found around the Galápagos Islands, this unusual fish is known for its bright red lips and its very unique way of moving. Instead of swimming gracefully like most fish, the red-lipped batfish uses its fins to “walk” along the ocean floor in search of food.

And with those bold red lips, it definitely looks like it is puckering up for the weekend. 💋🐟

Happy Informational Wednesday!

Meet the albino penguin — a fascinating and beautiful sight in the animal world. This unique coloring can be caused by a genetic condition that affects pigment, making the penguin appear mostly white or very pale instead of the classic black-and-white look we usually recognize.

While they are stunning to see, unusual coloring can make survival more difficult in the wild. Standing out from the group may make it harder to blend in, avoid predators, and protect themselves from the sun.

Rare, eye-catching, and one of nature’s most unique wonders — the white penguin is a beautiful reminder of just how diverse wildlife can be.

Happy Fun Fact Friday!

Meet the glasswing butterfly — a delicate little beauty with wings so transparent, they look like tiny panes of glass. This incredible feature helps it blend into its surroundings, making it much harder for predators to spot.

While many butterflies show off with bold colors, the glasswing butterfly takes a different approach — almost disappearing in plain sight.

Elegant, mysterious, and beautifully unique — nature really is an artist. 🦋✨

Today we honor and remember sweet Stella, lovingly known as Stell Bell. 🐾

From the very beginning, Stella made it clear she was in charge. She had a feisty spirit, a big personality, and a special way of bringing love, laughter, and energy into every moment. Stella loved bacon and eggs, her stuffed squeaky squirrel named Chet, and chasing squirrels all over the yard — maybe trying to find Chet a friend. Those little details are part of what made her so special and unforgettable.

Her sweet cuddles, playful personality, and loving presence are still missed every single day.

In Loving Memory of Stella,
It was an Honor to be of Service

Happy Fun Fact Friday!

Meet the puffin — the seabird that looks sweet, walks a little silly, and works harder than it gets credit for.

Puffins are often called the “clowns of the sea” because of their bright orange beaks, bold markings, and slightly awkward little waddle. But do not let the cute face fool you — these birds are impressive hunters. Puffins can dive underwater and use their wings to “fly” through the sea while chasing fish. Some can even carry several small fish in their beak at one time.

Their colorful beaks are also extra bright during breeding season, almost like they dressed up just to impress.

Happy Informational Wednesday!

Meet the genet — a sleek, spotted mammal that is often mistaken for a wild cat, but it is actually in a family of its own. With its long ringed tail, sharp senses, and flexible body, the genet is built for climbing, balancing, and moving quietly through the night.

These nocturnal hunters are quick, graceful, and mostly active after dark, using their agility to search for small animals, insects, and fruit.

Mysterious, spotted, and surprisingly skilled — the genet is definitely one of nature’s hidden gems.

Today, we honor the sweet memory of Delbert James Shortington III, a beloved companion who spent almost 15 wonderful years with his family.

Delbert may not have had a favorite toy, but he loved laying on his family at night and soaking up all the head scratches he could get. His favorite food was any pâté, especially when it came with a shrimp topper. And one of the most special things he did was say, “Hello,” a memory his family will always cherish.

Delbert joined his family when he was just 6 weeks old and was loved deeply from day one. As he grew older, he earned the sweet nickname “handsome old man,” but he was always, and will always be, their boy.

It was an Honor to be of Service
