We are running in to some issue that we are trying to work out. In the meantime please go follow the original Raising awareness page as we will be deactivating this page while we work on the merge. This page will be deactivated starting tomorrow 10/17/25. If we are unable to merge the pages we will reactive and follow up with a message for followers prior to deleting this page.

July 3, 2022 our very first post was made. Her name was Baby Girl and she was tagged by my dear friend Judy with TAO. Since that day, we’ve saved thousands of lives! A lot has changed over the years, but the one thing that never changed was our passion to fight for the underdogs the ones without a voice. We made a post a few weeks ago that we were gonna shut this page down we heard from 100s literally hundreds of people through either comments or messages thanking us for all the lives we’ve saved. We’ve continued to try to navigate through it, but now the time has came to say good bye. I was trying to figure out what would be the best course of action. We have decided that we are going to combine our page with our good friends Raising Awareness For Urgent Shelter Dogs. That way we won’t lose any of our amazing followers and we can continue to save lives. You’ll see if some changes taking place over the next couple of days first of all, we have to change the name of the page to match their name we just didn’t want people to be confused and i personally wanted to take the time to say thank you! 🙏

🚨POOR BABY JUST ARRIVED & OUT OF TIME – NEEDS OUT BY THURSDAY at 9AM🚨

Ryder is just a baby — barely a year old — but the shelter life has already broken him down. Once playful and happy, now he’s pacing and shutting down from stress. 😢 He’s a great dog, just overwhelmed by the noise, chaos, and constant confinement. Outside the kennel, Ryder shows his true colors: gentle, sweet, and eager to connect. He is onky last call for kennel stress. He just arrived and needs more time but shekter wont give it. He deserves the chance to be the goofy, loving dog he really is. All he needs is a quiet home or foster to decompress and remember what safety feels like. Please don’t let this young boy fade away behind bars!

🐾 Fostering is FREE and literally saves lives.

💔 BASTIAN – THE HANDSOMEST SENIOR WHO’S SURVIVED CRUELTY NEEDS A MIRACLE

‼️LAST CALL FOR 5 PM SUNDAY 10/12‼️
Fort Worth Animal Care & Control – South (Silcox)

Bastian has the kind of face that breaks your heart — scarred, soulful, and full of quiet grace. 💔 You can see in his eyes that he’s endured cruelty, yet somehow he still chooses to trust.

At 8 years old, this gentle senior carries the marks of a hard life on his body, but his spirit remains soft and loving. He came in as a stray with two other dogs, big and small, Falkor and Fletcher, likely all left behind together. Despite everything, Bastian leans in for affection, resting his head gently as if to say “thank you for seeing me.”

He’s calm, loyal, and forgiving — the kind of dog who’s survived the worst and still has love left to give. Bastian doesn’t want pity. He just wants peace. A warm home. A person who will finally keep their promise. 🥺

Please don’t let his story end in a kennel after all he’s survived — he deserves a soft place to land and someone to show him that love can still be safe.

💔 10 YEAR OLD SENIOR RETURNED AFTER NEARLY A DECADE 💔😭 This can’t be it!

Needs a hero by Thursday 9AM or will be euth@nized. Major’s story is heartbreaking — this sweet senior was first adopted way back in 2016, and after all those years of loyalty, he’s back at the shelter through no fault of his own. 💔 Returned because of landlord issues, not behavior. Imagine losing your home and family after 10 years old. He is DOG FRIENDLY!

Despite everything, Major is still friendly, gentle, and grateful for every bit of affection. He’s dog-friendly, enjoys the play yard, and greets volunteers with tail wags and calm energy. He’s one of those dogs who just knows how to make you smile. Easy foster!

He deserves to spend his golden years on a couch, not a cold kennel floor. Please, if you can foster or adopt, Major truly needs a hero now. Time is running out.

🚨URGENT🚨OUR FAVORITE BOY IS OUT OF TIME🚨 EASY 3-WEEK FOSTER‼️

‼️NEEDS A HERO BY 9AM WEDS 10/15‼️
Ranger has been at the shelter for almost 4 months, patiently waiting for someone to see how amazing he is. He’s been overlooked again and again, even though he’s one of the best dogs in the building, volunteers call him their favorite boy. 💔

He’s been urgent before for capacity, but now kennel stress has taken its toll. He will be euth@nized WEDNESDAY 10/15 if no one steps up by 5pm tomorrow. This gentle, happy boy deserves so much better. 😭

Ranger is dog friendly, kid friendly, and easygoing, the definition of a perfect family dog. He knows sit, shake, and come, walks beautifully on leash, and just wants to please. He lost his family after they moved and couldn’t keep him, but he hasn’t lost his faith in people!

Please don’t let this sweet, loving boy die in a kennel. He’s neutered, heartworm negative, and ready to go today. A 3-week foster could save his life, fostering is free, and everything is provided. Ranger’s time is almost up, please, share and email to save him now!

Intake: 6/15/25 • Owner surrender (landlord issues) • HW-
Last call: Was capacity now Kennel stress

Temperament: Friendly, playful, easygoing
Reason for Surrender: Landlord issues
My previous owner stated that I lived and got along with dogs and children (ages 6–16). I’m not bothered when being held, startled, or when my food or toys are around. I know “sit,” “shake,” and “come.” My only issue? I sometimes jump up when I’m excited — just because I love people that much.

💎 DIAMOND IS A TRUE GEM — SHE’S DONE EVERYTHING RIGHT AND STILL OUT OF TIME‼️
‼️LAST CALL 5PM MONDAY 10/13‼️
Fort Worth Animal Care & Control – NAC

Diamond is everything her name promises, gentle, loyal, and shining with potential. She’s only 2 years old and already the perfect mix of playful and calm. She loves other dogs, enjoys play yard time, and adores human affection.

She came to the shelter after her owner could no longer care for her, and despite the noise and stress, she’s stayed hopeful and sweet. Her heartworm status is treatable and the shelter even provides treatment for free — all she needs is someone to give her a real home.

This beautiful girl has waited patiently, but her time has run out through no fault of her own. She’s friendly, easy to handle, and truly one of the good ones — a gem who deserves to sparkle in someone’s life, not disappear behind shelter walls.

KID LOST HIS FAMILY — ONE WAS ADOPTED, ONE STILL WAITING, AND HE’S LISTED FOR Euth@nasia💔

‼️LAST CALL 5PM MONDAY 10/13‼️
Fort Worth Animal Care & Control

Kid came into the shelter with his little family — Junior and Lila, after their owner fell ill and could no longer care for them. Junior has since been adopted, but Kid and Lila were left behind. Now Kid’s out of time.
He’s a 4-year-old sweetheart who just wants connection and stability again. Friendly, gentle, and social with other dogs, he’s the kind of boy who thrives in a calm, loving home. Volunteers describe him as affectionate, easy-going, and good-natured, just a genuinely good dog caught in a bad situation.

Kid’s story shouldn’t end here after everything he’s already lost. He’s done nothing wrong, but space is running out, and he needs someone to see him, to give him the second chance he’s waiting for.

Only 40 shares for this handsome and perfect boy! He’s about to lose his precious life.

He has been waiting since June! Only last call for length of stay. Please come meet him today.‼️💔

‼️LAST CALL 5PM MONDAY 10/13‼️
Fort Worth Animal Care & Control

Ocean has been sitting in the shelter since June, which is far too long for a dog this loving and full of life. He’s everything people say they want — social, friendly, and great with other dogs, yet somehow still overlooked. Needs a hero asap! Easy foster

He’s the kind of boy who lights up when he sees people, tail wagging, eyes full of hope. He loves the play yard and has had multiple dog friends at the shelter. Ocean walks best with a harness and would thrive in a home where he can stretch his legs, explore, and finally learn what “home” really means.

He’s not just another dog on the list — he’s the one who will make you smile every single day. Please don’t let this sweet, loving boy run out of time.
