6am coffee with Oscar ☕️
We leave for Nationals in the morning!

So many thoughts this morning, excitement for the adventure to come, nerves for the unknown, and a touch of bitter sweetness. I was so looking forward to Tatum going when she got her invite, one of my own kids up there with me, but when safety out weights the “reward” it’s just not worth it. Hopefully next year will be her year on the Nationals dock!

Then of course Legend crosses my mind, old man you would have surely been dockside with me. You were always my constant, taking new adventures just still feels so foreign without you. You always help me pave the path. Now I’m having to learn to pave it with new faces. You were also my constant on travels. This will be the FIRST road trip I take solo without you. The sense of safety you brought was more than a 🔫 could ever offer. You were always on alert and ready to protect me. I never had to look over my shoulder when pumping gas, I never had to worry about potty trips as you scanned it all out. I slept fine as I know you were at my feet. You always “worked” before you relaxed. That is price tag no one could ever afford to pay. You kept me safe. I know you’ll be right there with Oscar and I in spirit-and whatever pep talk you gave him before you had to go has stuck -he gives me his everything just like you do, and he trust me just as much as you.

Here’s to an adventure with the “next best” boy, Oscar let’s go leave it in the dust ❤️

When we say we expose our dogs to it all…
Cardi girl had VIP fence line seating to the Johnson County Match Races today! Our friend was running one of her horses so we showed up to support her, and what better way to test temperament and manners than this 👏🏻

Our social butterfly greeted all with her contagious wiggles, then settled in to mind her manners and enjoy the races!

Grace & Cheyenne from Suede’s first litter -Living their best life in Hawaii!!

At a glance-I lost my breath… They look just like their Grandpa… Legend, old man, my heart will never heal fully from losing you ❤️

3 days of rain… we so need it! Our acreage looks like a burnt straw field!

So thankful for “off switch” Aussies

Pssttt…

Did you know it’s possible to enjoy a cup of coffee as the sun comes up (before your child is awake) with a 5mo old puppy who has only been out for a potty trip… No puppy chaos, just a calm laid back moment of peace…

Puppy Preschool for the win ✌🏼

When you start your puppies off right, you too can enjoy this moment 👏🏻

We have had a successful breeding between these 2 beauties, now the count down begins for confirmation of babes!

The last 72hrs 4 boarding and training dogs have gone home, Cardi is finally out of heat and can come off “detail security” and her pink panties, Tatum has bred, our human Toddler spent 5 hours in the car yesterday to tag along to an indoor dock pool to practice for Nationals and take a couple client dogs home!

When social media is quiet, it usually means our in person life is swamped!

One day I’ll juggle it all 🤣 but for now the priority is our human child, fur kids, and client fur kids in real life time… not social media glamor -for those who stay through the quiet seasons of social media… thank you 🙏🏻 This Momma, wife, dog mom, business owner, well I’m doing the best I can 🤣😜

Well… Tatum has come into heat! While it’s bittersweet to choose between taking her to Nationals, or planing a litter, I have to continue to stand behind I have longer “performance” years than I do “litter years” as their health comes before fun, and motherhood is more taxing than sports ❤️

If she takes…

Babes would be due end of November, and fly the coop end of January, beginning of February.
