Our newest little Dog Lover, Abram Lee, finally joined the pack on March 4th. Our hearts and hands have been full. We are all totally smitten and enjoying all the snuggles.

Thank you to all those who have sent words of encouragement, prayers, and love our way. We are truly blessed. 💙

These dogs and so many more have left paw prints on our Hearts and our Family will never forget our days at the Boarding Barn.

While today marks a very sad day for the Boarding Barn as we close our doors indefinitely, we will always remember the great joy it was to love on your dogs. Many have asked what I will do now. The truth of the matter is probably cry a lot. The Boarding Barn was a dream come true. However, changing seasons of life often demand that we change with them.

It has already been a few days since we have had no dogs in our care and my 4 year old has asked probably a 100 times why we aren't going out to take care of the dogs. This is the only life he has ever known. A great void will be felt and our whole family will miss each and every one of you and your dogs. I know I say it a lot but I can never say thank you enough for the love and support you have shown our family these past few years. I've said it before but Dog people are the best people.
My son says it best at the end of the last video. We love your Dogs.❤️

Unbeknownst to them all the dogs here at the Boarding Barn this week have been certified by me as my personal emotional support dogs. 🖤

It has been a heavy week as many of my customers should have received an email. If you did not receive an email from me, I do apologize. That likely means I have the wrong address on file or none at all. For those who responded through email or text, thank you truly for all your kind and encouraging words. ❤️

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that The Boarding Barn will be closing its doors January 26th 2026. With a new job opportunity for my husband and a brand new addition to the family due in February, we no longer feel that we will be able to provide the top quality care for your dogs that we strive for. It is uncertain at this time if The Boarding Barn will open its doors again. From the bottom of my heart I truly hope it will. However, starting January 26th we will be closed indefinitely.

To everything there is a season and these past 2 years have been a season of life I will truly cherish for the rest of my life. A season where strangers became family. A season full of wagging tales and slobbery kisses. A season full of sunrise walks with a good dog by my side. A season where my children had the best childhood filled with the best dogs. Words will never communicate fully the gratitude our family feels for you. Thank you again from the very bottom of our hearts for being such a valued part of this season of our family and The Boarding Barn.

I am sure to continue to need many more emotional support dogs over the coming months so feel free to still reach out and book with us until January 26th. 💔

Hey everyone! Things have been a bit quiet around here lately and I do apologize for that.

Due to some sickness going around here at the kennel we have been forced to slow down a bit. After several weeks of fighting an unknown virus, things are beginning to look up and we are excited to get back to loving on all the sweet babies. We will, however, be shutting down for the time being and reopening September 24th after our family takes a small break to prepare for the Fall and Winter Season.

Thank you to everyone who has been so understanding and kind during this time!

Whew…Summer. Who else is melting?🙋‍♀️

It has really been an amazing Texas summer thus far but things are starting to heat up!

I don’t know about you but north winds and pumpkin spice are sounding pretty amazing about now.🍂

As we all dream of cooler weather and fall vacations, we wanted to take this time to announce a few dates that the Boarding Barn will be closed this fall.

We will be closed the following dates.
*September 4th-24th
*November 10-14th

We know closing does cause some inconvenience for some of our customers and we sincerely apologize for that inconvenience. In the comments below I will list a few great alternatives for your boarding needs while we are closed.

Again we are overwhelmingly blessed by your support and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for trusting your Babies with us!

Just a friendly reminder, with summer heat on the rise we strive to get dogs out as much as possible in the mornings. If you have a drop off or pick up please please communicate clearly your arrival times. Dogs are often put up during pick up and drop off and it delays any extra playtime or walks we could be having if we don’t know exact times. Thank you!!
