These are some of the pets hoping to meet their new families at our Community Plaza Event this Saturday. Come meet them, support the rescues and enjoy everything happening throughout the plaza!

We’ll have 16 confirmed vendors, food trucks, lots of different cars, a live band, w**e tasting, family activities and plenty of FREE giveaways and prizes throughout the event!

Kids can also complete our PAWS Quest and receive a free squishy while supplies last. We’ll also be offering free nail trims for non-aggressive pets under 25 pounds.

📅 Saturday, October 3

Please share the pets’ pictures and our flyer. Their future family may be somewhere on your friends list. Normal rescue applications and adoption fees apply.

Please welcome Peety boy to A Bark Above! 😍🐾 He came to us at the PERFECT age, right after getting his first two rounds of shots. He even stopped in beforehand for a quick nail trim to meet us and get familiar with the salon. ❤️

He was an absolute angel and SO sweet! Starting them young and making grooming a normal part of life can make such a difference. We are so excited to watch this little guy grow up! 🥹🐾

We sure love your look, Hoosier 😍🐾 Looking handsome as ever!

One of our longtime regulars — we’ve had the pleasure of having Hoosier and his family as clients for almost a DECADE! ❤️ So thankful for families who continue to trust us year after year.

Do you want your pet to actually enjoy coming to the groomer and not be stressed every time? ❤️🐾

Starting them young and keeping them on a consistent 4-week schedule is one of the BEST things you can do. We love alternating partial grooms with full grooms so they learn that grooming is just a normal part of their routine.

That consistency gives them familiarity and predictability, helps them get comfortable being away from you, and most importantly allows them to build a bond and trust with their groomer. 🥰

Grooming doesn’t have to be something they dread. Start young, stay consistent, and give them the chance to learn that they’re safe here. ❤️

🌿 Getting to know your groomers — Jessica & Molly!

Something we both have in common outside of the salon is that we LOVE gardening and digging in the dirt 😂🌱 We also both really enjoy cooking, especially when we can use fresh ingredients we’ve grown ourselves!

Apparently when we’re not covered in dog hair, there’s a good chance one of us is covered in dirt instead. 😂🐾🌿

Cooper coming in for his routine appointment 🐾💙 This boy has come such a long way!

With consistency from his parent, patience during the grooming process, and learning exactly what Cooper needs to feel comfortable, we have made SO much progress with him. We love seeing it! 🥰
