Halloween is coming, and chocolate treats will be everywhere!
Chocolate can be dangerous for dogs because it contains theobromine and caffeine. These can cause vomiting, diarrhea, a fast heartbeat, tremors, seizures, and other serious health problems.
Dark chocolate and baking chocolate are especially dangerous.
Please keep candy bowls, trick-or-treat bags, and all chocolate safely out of your dog’s reach. If your dog eats chocolate, contact your veterinarian right away. Don’t wait for symptoms to appear.
Remember: Jim likes chocolate. Don’t let your dog be like Jim! 🐾
