I am pre-booking appointments for existing clients for the holiday season! ❄️☃️🌨️

If I have any remaining openings, I plan on accepting a few new clients from my waitlist in the coming weeks. I am going to try to work through that list into 2027. Once I reach out to everyone, I plan on adding some designated days for Roanoke now that I live closer to the area and have a couple clients who recently moved there.

If you’d like to pre-book for 2027, just let me know and I can begin working on that closer to December. 😊

49 days later and I’ve finally completed my last day grooming without a generator.

Thank you everyone for hanging in there with me during all of this. It’s been incredibly difficult to navigate, especially while buying a home and moving. Tomorrow, I will be deep cleaning and preparing to drop off my unit to be converted to lithium battery power!!! Sunday, we pack up supplies and roadtrip down to Terre Haute for the appointment.

This has definitely been the biggest challenge I’ve ever faced, but I know this replacement/upgrade will be so worth it!! I have been admiring these conversions for a few years, so I’m thankful I can go this route. I am excited to be back better than ever! The mobile unit will be completed Wednesday, and then I’ll be back at work Thursday with the new power system.

🗯️ Battery conversion installation is scheduled for 🗯️
🗓 September 19th to 23rd!

I will be closed from September 19th to the 23rd while my mobile unit is getting converted to being fully battery powered! While needing to make this upgrade came up pretty unexpectedly, I am very excited to make the switch to being generator-free! While I wait for my service, I will still be operating shore-line; plugging into clients' homes using two 20 amp outlets. Appointments may take a little longer due to the power limitations and extra set-up time.

Another note, we will be renovating our new home and moving here soon. I have accepted a few new clients for this upcoming month, but I will be waiting until we finish our move and the mobile unit's upgrade repairs before I work through my remaining waiting list. I will also be expanding my service areas to some surrounding cities near my new home base: Roanoke, Ossian, and Yoder. I will have a lot of projects to keep me busy, but eventually I'll be able to get the new workshop ready for the mobile unit for winters!

Unfortunately, my onboard generator has reached the point where it needs to be replaced and is currently out of service. While I wait for a new power system to be installed, I will be operating using 20-amp shore power whenever it’s available.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while I complete this upgrade. I look forward to having the new system installed and being back to full mobile operation as soon as possible.

I have some openings next week I’d love to fill with appointments for existing clients! This is the first time I’ve really slowed down since I stopped taking new clients in November.

If I’m unable to fill these spots up, I’ll be reaching out to people on the waiting list. Just wanted to give everyone a chance and opportunity to book if they’re needing in!

My fiancé and I are in the process of buying a home… we are still in the inspection process. We have a couple other big things to have inspected and waiting on a quote for a repair before we move forward. I’m trying to make sure I don’t take too many new people so everyone currently on my schedule can get in and continued to be rebooked. Plus it’s a little stressful to juggle everything at once, so I want to make sure I’m giving every dog my very best!
