Good morning, fur parents! 🐾❤️
A little update from the salon owner:
Unfortunately, our AC unit stopped working properly yesterday. We thought we had the issue resolved last night, but when our groomers arrived this morning, the salon was still 77°F and wasn’t cooling down.
With it being the middle of summer, we simply do not feel comfortable grooming your babies in those conditions. The safety and well-being of your pets and our groomers will ALWAYS be our #1 priority.
This is especially close to my heart right now, as I lost one of my own sweet babies Sunday night/Monday morning due to heat stroke, despite being in the shade with plenty of access to water. After experiencing something so heartbreaking firsthand, I am being extra cautious when it comes to the babies entrusted to our care. I would much rather inconvenience someone by rescheduling than ever take a chance with your pet’s safety.
We are hoping to have the AC issue completely resolved today so we can get back to doing what we love most — loving on and pampering your fur babies! 🐶✂️
In the meantime, please be patient with us as we work through rescheduling appointments. My groomers and I are doing everything we can to get everyone taken care of as quickly and safely as possible. We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, love, and continued support. ❤️
And please keep those babies safe in this summer heat! Check the pavement before walks, try to walk during the cooler parts of the day, always provide access to fresh water and shade, and familiarize yourself with the signs of heat stroke. It can happen much faster than you may realize.
Stay safe, stay cool, and give those fur babies some extra love from us! 🐾❤️🫶🏼

Below is a beautiful memorial my dog trainer made in honor of my sweet Ember, along with important information about heat stroke to help keep other dogs safe. ❤️ I’ve owned and worked with dogs for over 7 years, I know the signs, and I’ve always been cautious—but even with that experience, it happened so incredibly fast with my girl. If sharing Ember’s story can help even one person recognize the signs sooner or save another fur baby’s life, then her story is worth sharing. Please never underestimate how quickly heat stroke can happen. 🐾❤️
