On Wednesday evening, our team had the honor of attending the Finest of the Emerald Coast Gala after being nominated for Best Veterinary Clinic, and we are incredibly proud and grateful to announce that we won! 🐾💙

This recognition means so much to our entire Bayside family, and we truly could not have done it without our amazing clients. Thank you for trusting us with the care of your beloved pets, for supporting our team, and for allowing us to do what we love every single day.

We are so thankful for each and every one of our patients and clients who have become part of the Bayside family over the years. Your trust and support mean more to us than we can put into words.

It is an honor to serve this wonderful community, and we look forward to continuing to care for your four-legged family members for many years to come. 🐶🐱💙

From all of us at Bayside Hospital for Animals—THANK YOU! We couldn’t have done this without you! 🐾

🐾 Can you say PUPPY TIME?! 🐾

We had the absolute pleasure of meeting these 9 adorable puppies from Animals of Ivy today! 🐶 Each of these little cuties came in for their very first veterinary visit, and they were all SO brave! 🩺🐾

The best part? They’re looking for their forever homes!

If one of these sweet faces steals your heart, please reach out to Animals of Ivy for more information about adoption.

Help us find these precious pups the loving families they deserve! 🐾

One thing about Dr. Leonik, she is always loving on the kittens!🫶🏼

Did you know that “kitten season” is the time of year when shelters, rescues, and veterinary clinics often see an increase in kittens? Here are a few fun and important kitten facts!

🐾 Kittens are born with their eyes closed. Their eyes typically begin to open around 7–14 days old.

🐾 Kittens can’t regulate their body temperature well when they’re very young. They rely on their mother and littermates to help keep them warm.

🐾 Those tiny teeth come in quickly! Baby teeth usually begin appearing around 2–3 weeks of age.

🐾 Kittens grow FAST. Proper nutrition during their first year is important to support all that growing and developing.

🐾 Vaccines are important! Kittens need a series of vaccinations beginning when they’re young to help protect them from serious diseases.

🐾 Parasites are common in kittens. Routine veterinary visits, f***l testing, and appropriate parasite prevention can help keep them healthy.

🐾 Spaying and neutering helps prevent future kitten seasons. One unspayed female cat can contribute to many kittens being born over time.
