Tank prep before Hurricane Isaias, the short version:

Feed lightly, because extra food turns into ammonia if the filter stops. Store clean water in lidded containers that have never held soap or chemicals. Have a battery-powered air pump and spare batteries. Unplug heaters, pumps and lights so a surge can't hit them when power returns.

🌀 HURRICANE UPDATE 🌀

With the hurricane heading our way, PNC Fish and More will be closed until Sunday, pending any storm damage or other unforeseen circumstances.
🐠 Fellow reefers! Don’t forget to prepare your tanks for the storm! We’ve pinned a Hurricane Preparedness Checklist to the top of our page to help you get your aquariums ready for whatever Mother Nature throws our way!
We’ll keep everyone updated on reopening as conditions allow.
Stay safe, stay prepared, and we’ll see y’all on the other side of the storm!
