A beautiful bull elk finished up recently. This elk was shot in New Zealand. He's still got a little velvet on his antlers, and the observant among you may have noticed he has a third antler sprouting just above his left eye that ends in a gnarled bulb.

It was a great weekend! Beautiful weather and some great hunting opportunities.

I'm already over 50% booked for new clients within this year's deer quota. Once my quota is full, I won't be accepting any additional deer from new clients for the season. Returning clients, lifesize mounts, and other mammals are always welcome.

I'm so thankful for every deer entrusted to me. The quality of your trophy is always my top priority, and I'm excited to work on each and every one. No two deer are alike, and their unique characteristics are what make each one such an interesting and rewarding piece to create!

This weekend has the weather deer hunters dream of! Highs in the 50°s and 60°s and lows in the 30°s! This buck was brought in this morning and spots are only going to fill up faster! A beautiful snow urial that was recently sent home. The snow urial is a man-made sheep hybrid between a Transcaspian Urial and a Texas Dall sheep. They are a very popular and highly valuable sheep to pursue in hunting ranches. I feel blessed to work on a wide variety of animals from all over the world. Different species of sheep are one of my particular favorites to work on, and they often remind me of how often our Lord refers to us as His sheep and that He is our Good Shepherd.
