We would like to introduce Dr. Kayla Hiland. She will be helping us as a relief vet the next couple of months during Dr. Taylor’s maternity leave.

She was born and raised on Sand Mountain. She graduated from Auburn University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She has spent the last two years living in Denver, Colorado. Recently, she moved back home to Fort Payne with her husband and 11-month-old daughter, Eleanor. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, and reading. She is very excited to be back home and start providing care for the pets of Fort Payne!

We are so excited to welcome her to the clinic! Also, please join us in congratulating Dr. Taylor and her family on the arrival of baby number two, born yesterday!

I want to thank everyone in the community who voted for us as the best veterinary hospital once again this year! It is a true honor and something I cherish dearly.

I am so unbelievably blessed with the best staff !!! They pour their hearts and souls into your fur babies and into our clients everyday. From the kennel techs, to my vet assistants, to my groomer, to my front desk receptionist, and to my doctors…. Thank you. Thank you for love and dedication you put into your work everyday. Thank you for loving our patients and clients, and most of all loving this town and community. Thank you for making this hospital so special.

Thank you to our clients for trusting us with your babies. I know we can’t please everyone, but we sure try our hardest too. It is a honor to serve this town and community, and we hope we always continue to be the best we can possibly be for you guys!!!
