🚨❗️URGENT FOSTERS NEEDED❗️🚨

We need immediate help from our community 🆘️

We just found another pocket of unaltered cats and kittens in the same neighborhood as our Cosmic Colony. We will be getting the 4 adult cats fixed ASAP, but we desperately need a foster for 5 kittens. They are approximately 8 weeks old and are in desperate need of deworming. They are infested with parasites that are causing them tummy troubles.

⭐️We provide ALL SUPPLIES AND VET CARE⭐️

These kittens can be fostered all together or two different fosters can take some.

Friends, we are in dire straights and physically do not have anywhere else for these kittens to go. We NEED more community involvement 🙏💓

Worried about crazy/messy kittens making a mess in your house? No worries, we can provide tiered crates and pop up playpens to keep these stickers in while not supervised! Whatever you need, we've got you covered!

Please apply to foster at radcatinc.org/foster

Introducing Colby & Jack 🧡

Found underneath a shed all by themselves; our volunteer Maddie knew she had to take them into foster care. They are now getting endless cuddles and veterinary care.

Colby and Jack are both little boys and are approximately 9 weeks old. They received their first FVRCP vaccines last week. They will be neutered once they are 3lbs. Once they are fully vetted and 14 weeks old they will be available for adoption.

TNR victories ✌️🪤

This week, a total of 8 cats were fixed, including an owner-assist spay and neuter for Luigi and Lilly — the parents of Soot and Sprite.

We also successfully TNRd another 6 cats from our Woodland Colony in Flintstone, bringing us to 16 adult cats fixed at this single location alone.

On top of that, we’ve rescued 19 kittens from this colony.
• 7 kittens are currently in RAD Cat foster care
• 12 kittens have been transferred to partner rescues for placement and care

At this point, there are approximately 2 adult male cats left to trap, along with 3 kittens around 9 weeks old.

Our volunteers have worked incredibly hard on this project. Between trapping, transport, fostering, coordinating care, and long late-night trap checks, we are all feeling exhausted. Because of that, we’ll be taking a 2 week trapping break to catch up, rest, and recharge. Rescue work can be emotionally and physically draining, and rescuer mental health matters too.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared our posts, transported cats, fostered, trapped, and supported this mission. Every cat fixed helps prevent future suffering and changes countless lives for the better. 🐾

Everyone get your tissues ready 💔

We were alerted by the colony caretakers of our Woodland colony that there were more kittens on the property that needed our help. We set out Wednesday evening to go scope out the situation and release the 5 adult cats that we had spayed and neutered the day before.

We heard kitten crys coming from underneath a trailer home. We quickly got our flashlights ready and began looking for them. We were able to scoop up several kittens easily but we still heard more. That's when we spotted Timber... a little tabby sitting at the far end of the trailer all by himself in the dark.

We went over to the other side and our brave volunteer Annabel crawled under to get him. He did not move a muscle and was happy to be embraced, unlike the other spicy little ones.

We instantly knew something wasn't right with little Timber. When we lifted him up his tiny back legs hung limp and he had pottied all over himself.

We spent the rest of the night, until 2 in the morning, bathing kittens that were riddled with fleas. The very next morning Timber was quickly taken to our vet. An x-ray revealed a hairline fracture in one of Timber's vertebrae, which was causing the paralysis.

This was not the news we were wanting to hear, as this means this is most likely a permanent disability for baby Timber. But, there is a sliver of hope and good news. The good news is that Timber is not in any pain at all. He is totally numb from the middle spine down.

Our vet explained to us that this is a very serious ailment and that Timber will require in depth special care his entire life. Help emptying his bladder and stimulation to go poo. He suggested humane euthanasia because he knows what an undertaking this is and that we are a small volunteer ran rescue. But, after lots of conversations and observations, we have decided we just can't let this boy go. Timber continues to amaze us with his vibrancy and will to live. He plays, eats, purrs, and acts like any other kitten minus his physical disability. He has shown us resilience and we are going to follow his lead. 💗

We are also blown away by the amazing people within our organization and circle. Believe it or not we already have a potential adopter for this little one, who has extensive special needs animal experience. The selflessness and compassion that has come forth for this precious kitty truly restores our faith in humanity ❤️

If at anytime Timber's condition changes or his quality of life declines, we will of course take whatever steps necessary. But, for now, we are happy to see this brave little kitty loving life in foster care.

THIS is why we do what we do. PLEASE help us end this cycle of suffering by spaying and neutering your pets.

Follow along for more updates on baby Timber 💙🙏
