Hubert Jones is still waiting 🥺

He's now been in our care for 8 months... this boy is one of a kind and anyone who adopts him will be very lucky. Hubert adores other cats and even dogs! He loves friendy big dogs to play and cuddle with 🐶

You couldn't find a more friendly and adaptable little dude. We are happy to say that Hubert's blood sugar is finally stable 🙌 This is all due to his foster and vet's diligent care ❤️

Hubert requires insulin shots and a special diet, but he very easily and willingly accepts his shots while eating. It is relatively easy to do and we can provide all training and initial supplies. Hubert also comes with a whole sponsored care package which includes; an auto feeder, litter box, and cat tree!

We absolutely adore this sweet boy and know his purrfect home and people are out there. 🥰

We promise that whoever that fortunate person is they will not regret bringing Hubert home. With his cute honk meows and heart nose, he truly charms everyone who meets him 🐈‍⬛️🫶

🐈IT'S TNR TUESDAY🙌

Every week looks a little bit different when performing TNR.

This week the community cats weren't cooperating too well and we weren't able to catch any of the feral cats in traps. We will continue trap training to help them feel more comfortable with going all the way inside the traps so we can spay and neuter them another time soon.

But, we were successfully able to scoop up 3 friendly cats from the same location who's owners needed assistance getting fixed 🫶

One of which is Baby Girl, solid white female (this is the Mulan themed kitten's mother). From the same place we also scooped up Pumpkin to be neutered (black long haired male).

Next, just a couple houses away, we picked up Simba. His owners were very excited for the opportunity to get him neutered! We will also be providing some medications to his family for his upper respiratory issues.

Lastly, we also used the 2 other available spots to get our foster kittens Soot & Sprite fixed today 🐈‍⬛️🖤

After many fails, thunderstorms, and ungodly evenings in the heat and humidity; all of the Cosmic Colony kittens have been apprehended 🪤🐈

They have been quite the little bandits; stealing food through the traps without fully going in, and darting off! After a few nights of clear skies and trap training we finally managed to trap all of them 🙌

These little spicy rascals have now had their first vaccines, flea treatment, and deworming. They will be headed to foster care today. We are so thankful for the kind individuals who have signed up to foster these cuties 💕 Without fosters we could not have rescued them! With such limited space we rely exclusively on the kindness of new fosters.

The greatest part about this rescue mission is that their mama Galaxy has already been spayed! We had her TNRd a few weeks ago and quickly returned her back when our vet said she was lactating. She's done a great job nursing and raising her littles and we are happy to say that was her LAST LITTER! She can now live her life happily; fixed, feral, and free 🫶

Everyone meet Draco, Helios, Andromeda, and Aurora 🌌☀️

This now makes 3️⃣7️⃣ cats/kittens saved/spayed/ neutered from this one location!

Another kitten who suffered and died unnecessarily.

Despite our vet and fosters best effort Mushu did not make it. We had Mushu hospitalized as soon as we noticed he was not doing well. Our vet threw everything he knew to do at Mushu to try and help him recover; 3 enemas under sedation, B vitamin injections, laxatives, IV fluids, glucose, etc. Mushu kept trying to eat and trying to survive, so we held on hope. Until yesterday morning, he collapsed and quickly started fading. Megacolon in a kitten his size is a serious ailment and his little body just couldn't recover.

The only thing that gives us any closure is knowing that Mushu was warm and loved during his passing, instead of outdoors and alone.

We are tired of seeing this suffering year after year. If you have unaltered pets or strays you feed PLEASE make a plan to get them fixed. We know resources are scarce, and thats a problem that also needs improvement. But, as a grassroots rescue, we are just people who started making a plan too. Just like YOU. Where there is a will there is a way, make it happen for the animals. Reach out to municipal shelters, low cost veterinary offices, rescues, raise money on social media or create a GoFund Me. We need our communities help to end suffering. The weight of this animal overpopulation crisis cannot fall on the shoulders of just a few rescuers. We are burnout and need help!

Our little miraculous boy Timber is now in his foster-to-adopt home ❤️

We could not be more thankful for both his quarantine foster Annabel and now potential new mommy Rachel. We are in administration of both of their loving hearts 🫶

Timber continues to amaze and surprise us. Check out his wiggly toes in this video! He loves churu! He even has started to wear weight and "use" his back legs occasionally.

We are so happy and grateful to see this little wonderful growing and thriving 💖

⚠️‼️URGENT VET BILL DONATIONS NEEDED‼️⚠️

We are going to be completely honest. The past 2 weeks have been BRUTAL. We are in the very hight of kitten season and it's wearing us down. We have so many sick kitties in our care right now and it's so difficult to see them struggling.

Our precious new rescue kitten Mushu has been hospitalized for the past 2 days with a condition called mega colon. Mushu is one of 5 in our Mulan litter. All but 1 of the kittens are Manx (no tail or nub) and unfortunately manx are prone to health issues of this nature. They commonly have a condition called Manx Syndrome which can lead to spinal and colorectul problems. It is similar to spinabifida in humans.

Our vet has been giving Mushu the best possible care ❤️ He had to be sedated twice and given enemas, B vitamin injections, fluids, etc. We are so thankful to have such a skilled veterinarian to see our most vulnerable cats and kittens.

As you can see from our vet bills posted here, Mushu was not the only kitty needing vet care this week. These expenses add up and our funds are critically low again.

As a 501c3 non-profit organization all donations are tax deductible and a receipt can be provided upon request.

Please keep Mushu and all the little lives in our care in your hearts 💕 We are hopeful for full healing.

😺TNR TUESDAY🙌

Yesterday we trapped 2 more cats from our Cosmic Colony, putting us at 3️⃣2️⃣ cats spayed or neutered from this one location. We had 2 traps set to catch these kitties and they decided to both get in one together 😹 We are calling then Phoenix & Perseus! Check out Perseus's thumbs 👍

We also are getting 1 male cat named Little Bit fixed today. He has an owner and we are helping her out 🧡 She was given Little Bit when he was just 3 weeks old and she bottle fed him after his mother had died. She is very happy we approached her about getting him fixed 🫶

Hazel and Dot were spayed last week as an owner assist as well!

Each spay or neuter costs us between $70-$120. We are low on TNR funds and could use your support 🙏 As a 501c3 non-profit organization all donations are tax deductible and a receipt can be provided upon request.
