What you see is what you get! No surprises here. Oakley's personality is already set and he is a gem! He has personality plus and his heart is full of love for everyone he knows. He absolutely adores people and will follow you from room to room. He can relax like a pro! Do you like to spend time watching TV? That's Oakley's dream job. He would love that. He doesn't need five walks a day like his younger counterparts. He is a dignified gentleman who wouldn't consider shredding your garbage or ripping up your shoes. He already knows how to be an easy-going companion. He stands ready to give you a reason to smile. He is always smiling so you can't help but smile back. This wonderful, sweet, calm, respectful guy is tall and lanky and a nice medium size at 58 pounds. He knows "sit" and "give paw" and he takes treats very gently. He is a happy tail-wagger and never seems to have a bad day. Oakley is a social butterfly who enjoys life and enjoys being around others. He is good in the bathtub and lets the groomer suds him up and rub him down without complaints. The play group coordinator states that in play groups he is social and tolerant. He is considered a rock star and is used as a greeter/helper dog. He is quick to initiate a play bow. He has a good sense of when to play and when to remove himself. He takes correction well and does not pressure others to play if they are not in the mood to engage. However, in a foster home he had conflict with the resident dog. It's possible that he adores his people so much that he wanted them to himself. He is listed in the age category of 6-8 years old.
