Pups N Paradise was originally established in 2011 in a trendy city called Jamaica Plain, a suburb of Boston. The owner Jeniffer decided to sell her business in 2015 and start her life all over again here in beautiful Fort Myers Florida. Pups N Paradise came about with a dream of living in a tropical paradise with her brood of American bullies. 2022 she happy to say her dreams came true and broug

ht back PNP. With 20+ years of experience and working with some of the best groomers in the country , her skill set excels in all breeds, scissor work, pet safe color, and hand stripping. She is truly passionate with creating a calm and loving atmosphere for you and your pets. We do not accept walk ins. We work with one family at a time to ensure a tranquil experience. Pets are never caged and are worked on straight through. No more sitting and waiting all day ! To a dog, grooming isn’t just about looking good. It’s a sensory experience that requires complete trust, physical surrender, and nervous system safety.
When a dog has a consistent routine, environment, and practitioner, they flourish. They walk in happy, stable, and settled because their body remembers, “I am safe here.”
But when a dog gets bounced around from shop to shop—often just to save $10 or fit a quick slot—that predictability shatters.
When those same dogs eventually come back to my table, the shift is undeniable.
They carry anxiety. Their bodies are guarded. The effortless relationship we built is suddenly strained because their sense of stability was interrupted. They don’t show up the same way they used to, because their nervous system has been forced into defense mode somewhere else.
Dogs don’t understand discounts or convenience. They understand safety, routine, and connection.
Grooming is healthcare. It’s skin and coat integrity, yes—but above all, it’s about honoring the emotional well-being of our best friends.
I am so deeply grateful for the client family who understands this. Who chooses consistency, relational care, and true health over shortcuts. You are giving your dog a gift that goes far beyond a bath and a haircut. ❤️✨

Most of you know that my life revolves around dogs, but what you might not know is that I recently said goodbye to my sweet Amira after 11 years. She was my heart, and I’m heading to Hawaii next week one of my favorite places in the world and where I plan to retire one day—to spread her ashes and give her the beautiful goodbye she deserves. ️🏝️🐾
Because this trip is so important for my soul, I’ll be away and the studio will be closed from April 27th to May 6th.
I want to head to the islands knowing all my favorite local pups are looking and feeling their best! I’m opening up every available minute this upcoming week to get as many haircuts in as possible before I go. I’m currently only 5 spots away from a full week! This includes Sunday the 26th.

If a dog is “bad” for grooming… this is why.

Most people see snapping, growling, or resistance and label the dog as difficult.

But what I see is a nervous system that doesn’t feel safe yet.

This boy didn’t need force.
He didn’t need to be “handled better.”

He needed time, patience, and someone willing to understand him.

So I met him where he was.
I adjusted.
I listened.

And over time… he softened.

Not because he changed
but because he finally felt safe enough to.

This is what I love about grooming.

It’s not just about making dogs look good…
it’s about building trust with the ones who need it most. 💛

If you have a “spicy” dog, I promise there is nothing wrong with them.
They just need the right approach.
