While the rest of the country is pulling out sweaters, sipping hot cocoa, and enjoying crisp fall air, here in Florida we’re celebrating spooky season in flip-flops, sunglasses, and 88° weather. 😂🐾

🐾 Mondays are better with faces like THIS. 😂💚

We know Mondays don’t always get a lot of love… but around here, they come with puppy kisses, squishy faces, big paws, and plenty of reasons to smile. 🥹🐶

We absolutely LOVE our clients and their pets, and getting to care for your four-legged family members is one of the best parts of what we do. Even when they show up wearing half their snack on their face. 😂

🚨 Important Health Alert for South Florida Cat Owners 🚨

Veterinarians across South Florida are warning pet parents about a concerning shift in Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV)—often referred to as feline parvovirus.

Historically, FPV has primarily posed a severe risk to young kittens. However, local veterinary clinics and shelters are seeing a rise in adult cats becoming seriously ill from aggressive strains of this virus.

🔍 What You Need to Know:
How It Spreads: FPV is highly contagious and spreads through contact with infected f***s, vomit, or contaminated surfaces (including shoes, bedding, and grass). The virus is tough and can survive in the environment for months.

Symptoms to Watch For: Rapid onset of severe lethargy, loss of appetite, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or sudden fever.

Who Is at Risk: Unvaccinated or under-vaccinated cats of all ages, including adult indoor cats that may come into contact with tracking outdoor contaminants. (Note: FPV only affects cats and does not spread to dogs or humans.)

🛡️ How to Protect Your Cat:
Check Vaccination Records: The core FVRCP vaccine is extraordinarily effective at preventing severe illness and death. Ensure your adult cats are completely up to date on their boosters.

Practice Good Hygiene: Standard hand sanitizers and basic cleaners do not kill FPV. Wash hands thoroughly and sanitize shared spaces properly.

Isolate & Act Fast: If you notice sudden gastrointestinal symptoms or extreme lethargy in your cat, isolate them from other pets immediately and give us a call.
