"We had a great experience with Shawn! We have 2 English Cream Golden Doodle brothers that are a little over 1 year old. They’re super sweet, but we were having trouble with lease pulling on walks & focus/listening to us. Shawn provided us with proper training skills that we consistently implement with them & we have seen a lot of improvement & actually found that they love to learn & enjoy training! Definitely a positive experience with Shawn & we highly recommend." ~ Trish Millman

"If you have a large breed, Shawn is the trainer you need. His background as a police K9 officer gives him unparalleled expertise. He did an amazing job with my Rottweiler, Javi, bringing structure, patience, and highly effective techniques to our sessions. The results speak for themselves. I am so grateful for his help and highly recommend his services to anyone! Javi is the best dog we have had or seen and shawn is to thank for that!" ~ Quinten Redman

Today’s training involved a turtle with ZERO recall, terrible leash manners, and a complete refusal to follow commands.

After some negotiations and a little help from a tennis racket, the turtle was safely escorted off the road.

GRADUATION ALERT!!!

Navy and Tucker did it!

It’s always a great feeling when dog reactivity and leash pulling become things of the past.

We worked hard on proper leash manners and staying focused no matter the environment or distractions.

Navy and Tucker showed off their new skills at Mercato for graduation and did an awesome job!

Great job Navy and Tucker! I look forward to seeing all of your upcoming adventures.

GRADUATION ALERT!!!!!

Auggie did it!!!

Auggie used to get very overstimulated around other dogs and would pull like crazy on the leash.

After putting in the work, those behaviors are now a thing of the past!

Haley did an awesome job building the behaviors she wanted and working through the ones she didn’t.

Great job Haley and Auggie! Thank you for trusting me with Auggie’s training. You guys crushed it!

GRADUATION ALERT!!!!

This little lady, Charlie, wins you over the second you meet her. But she may have had a few behaviors that needed a little work.

So Mom and Dad reached out to Paw & Order Dog Training SWFL, and Charlie got to work!

Now Charlie has great leash manners, loves going on vacation in the motor coach, and knows how to use her manners everywhere she goes.

Great job, Charlie, Mom and Dad! I can’t thank y’all enough for trusting me with her training.

Enjoy those adventures together!

GRADUATION ALERT!!!

And this one is very special to me.

Meet Bear. His birthday happens to fall on the same day that I had to say goodbye to my second K9 partner, Eiko.

Eiko was my partner for years before I lost him to cancer. The first time I met Bear in person, I had to hold back tears because he reminded me so much of Eiko. Then finding out the significance of his birthday made that connection even more special.

When we started training, Bear was not a fan of other dogs and definitely needed some work on leash. Now he’s loose-leash walking in all kinds of environments, even at the BBQ joint down the road from home.

Bear still has some work to do with one particular little dog, but his progress has been incredible. We may even start working on some scent detection training soon.

This one definitely means a little more to me.

Well done, BEAR!!!

"We had such a great experience working with Shawn. He was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job not only helping our dog, but helping us as well. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable trainer!" ~ Haley Hicks

GRADUATION ALERT!!!!

Nala and Momma did it!!!!

The work these two put in has been nothing short of awesome.

Nala was already a fantastic dog with a great personality, but she did NOT like other dogs being around. She would pull and bark like crazy anytime another dog came near.

Now, Nala has learned the art of doing nothing and simply coexisting around other dogs.

What a difference!

Great job Nala and Mom! Thank you for trusting me with Nala’s training. You both did an amazing job!
