Fireworks Season Is Starting Early This Year!

With America’s 250th anniversary celebrations, many communities are kicking off fireworks displays earlier and more often than usual. While we may enjoy the shows, fireworks can be stressful for our dogs.

Here are 5 ways to help keep your dog safe and calm during fireworks season:

- Keep Them Indoors
Bring pets inside before fireworks begin and make sure doors, gates, and windows are secure.
- Create Background Noise
Turn on the TV, music, or a fan to help mask the sound of fireworks.
- Provide a Safe Space
Many dogs feel more comfortable in a familiar room, crate, or quiet area of the house.
- Check ID Tags & Microchips
Fireworks are one of the leading causes of lost pets. Make sure identification information is current.
- Keep Them Occupied
A favorite toy, chew, treat, or puzzle can help distract your dog during the noise.

Every dog reacts differently to fireworks. Does your dog stay calm, or are they one of the many pups that would rather skip the celebration?

GRADUATION ALERT! 🎓

Rocco did it!!

As you can imagine, Rocco had A LOT of energy and didn't always know what to do with it!

After completing our In-Home Lite Package, Mom and Dad can now take him wherever they want with confidence.

✅ Proper leash manners
✅ No reactivity to people or dogs
✅ A much more enjoyable life for everyone

Rocco is still the fun, energetic pup he has always been, but now he has the manners to match.

GRADUATION ALERT!!! This is a BIG one!!! 🎓

Canela DID IT!!

The work that Canela and Mom put in has been nothing short of AMAZING.

When we first started, Canela was scared to even go outside for walks. Today, she not only loves her walks, but she walks properly and confidently with no reactivity to people, dogs, squirrels, or anything else she encounters.

While we'll continue building her confidence, I have no doubt that Canela's future is going to be very bright.

Thank you so much for trusting me with Canela's training. Watching her transformation has been incredible, and I can't wait to see all of her future adventures.

Summer Dog Safety Tips

Hot summer days can be tough on our dogs, so here are 5 quick reminders to help keep your pup safe and happy this season:

- Watch hot pavement — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for paws.

- Keep fresh water available — hydration matters, especially on hot days.

- Provide shade and cool breaks — dogs need time out of the sun too.

- Never leave dogs in a parked car — temperatures rise dangerously fast, even with windows cracked.

- Know the signs of overheating — excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, or vomiting can be warning signs.
