🐾❤️ MEET DUSTY — LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! ❤️🐾

Meet Dusty! This sweet, spirited boy is looking for a loving family who will give him the forever home he deserves. Could that be you? 🏡💕
Dusty is a happy, energetic pup with a BIG personality! He loves going for car rides 🚗 and absolutely LOVES the river! Whether he's walking along the shore, splashing in the water, or swimming, he's one happy boy when he's near the water! 🌊🐶
🍓 A few of Dusty's favorite things:
🐾 Car rides and adventures
🐾 The river, swimming, and splashing
🐾 Fresh or frozen fruit
🐾 Pretty much any dog-safe veggies
🐾 Chew toys, chew toys, and MORE chew toys!
Dusty has lots of energy, a playful spirit, and a love for life. A home with a backyard and plenty of chew toys to keep him happy and occupied would be ideal! 🌳🦴
He's already attended a puppy obedience class and knows the usual commands. Of course, being the spirited boy he is, sometimes he has his own ideas about whether those commands need to be followed! 😂 He's smart, sweet, and occasionally stubborn, so he'll benefit from a family willing to continue his training with patience, consistency, and lots of love.
🐶 WHAT ABOUT OTHER ANIMALS?
Dusty hasn't had much experience around other dogs, aside from the dogs he's encountered at obedience classes. Because of this, we're not yet sure how he would do with other dogs or animals. A potential adopter should be prepared to make introductions carefully and patiently to help everyone feel safe and comfortable. ❤️
❤️ DUSTY'S ROAD TO RECOVERY
Dusty is recovering from surgery on his right back leg (femur). Although he hasn't been able to be as active as he'd like, he's healing very well and is walking nicely on his injured leg. He has follow-up X-rays scheduled for November 13 to check his progress.
The good news? His surgery is already paid for! We will also cover his follow-up X-rays and any medications needed for his recovery. ❤️🐾
Dusty has so much love, life, and adventure ahead of him. He just needs someone willing to give him a chance and help him continue healing until he's ready to enjoy all his favorite activities again.
💔 Sometimes, loving a dog means admitting that you can't give them everything they need, even when you wish you could. Dusty deserves a family who can give him the time, attention, patience, and affection he needs to thrive, along with plenty of opportunities to burn off his energy once he's medically cleared.
