If your pet turns into a nervous wreck the moment things start popping outside, this is your sign to start prepping NOW, not at 9pm on July 3rd when everyone's panicking together.

A few easy wins: set up a cozy hideaway spot at home, double-check that microchip info is current (spooked pets are escape artists), and if your vet's already mentioned calming options, or you would like to get some for your pets, now's the time to grab them.
