Our hearts are heavy today as we say goodbye to another incredible canine.
Please join us in paying tribute to therapy dog Rusty, who passed away this week. Rusty, a beautiful standard poodle with the sweetest soul, brought comfort, joy, and gentle companionship wherever he went. Alongside his devoted handler and owner, Tina, he formed a remarkable duo, sharing countless meaningful moments and brightening the lives of so many.
Rusty had a quiet, special way about him. He didn’t need to make noise to make an impact, his calm presence spoke volumes. Gentle, kind, and deeply loving, he drew people in effortlessly. Whether it was his relaxed nature, his soft fur, or simply the warmth he radiated, everyone who met him felt at ease in his presence.
Tina and Rusty visited so many different places and touched so many lives, but there was something extra special about the way he connected with children. He welcomed their affection without hesitation, patiently allowing little hands to rest on him, to hold his paws, or even give a gentle tug on his ears. He was truly a people-pleaser and a people-lover… and oh, how deeply he was loved in return.
Rusty, sweet boy, may you run free across the rainbow bridge, reunited with all who have gone before you. You will forever hold a place in our hearts, and your legacy will live on through C.A.T. and in every life you touched.
And Tina, thank you for sharing your sweet boy with our community and for allowing his love to reach so many.
Run free, sweet Rusty. 💜🌈🐾
