About Tiny Leaf Microgreen Farm
Tiny Leaf Microgreen Farm is a locally owned indoor vertical farm specializing in premium microgreens and edible flowers for South Florida's culinary industry. We proudly supply some of the region's top restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, and wholesale produce distributors from Miami-Dade to Palm Beach County.

While we call ourselves a farm, we've evolved into much more than that. Today, Tiny Leaf operates as a modern indoor microgreen production facility where consistency, quality, food safety, and production efficiency are our highest priorities.
Our mission is simple:

To grow exceptional microgreens while supporting local chefs and businesses with the freshest, safest, and most consistent products possible.

As a USDA GAP-certified facility, every tray we grow follows strict food safety and quality standards. We take enormous pride in what leaves our farm, and every team member plays an important role in that success.

We're a small, hardworking team that enjoys what we do, supports one another, and is passionate about building one of South Florida's leading indoor farms.

Our Work Environment
Friendly, supportive team
Casual atmosphere with high professional standards
Opportunities for growth as the company continues to expand
Consistent daytime schedule
Learn modern indoor farming and controlled-environment agriculture

About the Position
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Indoor Farm Production Technician to join our growing team.
No previous microgreen experience is required. We can teach the technical skills—we're looking for someone with a great attitude, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to learn.

We want to be transparent about the nature of this position.
Growing microgreens sounds like gardening, but in reality this is a food production and labor position. Much of the day involves repetitive physical work that requires consistency and attention to detail.

Daily work may include:
Standing for extended periods
Lifting and moving trays
Climbing ladders
Seeding crops
Harvesting and packaging microgreens
Pressure washing trays and equipment
Cleaning and sanitizing growing areas
Preparing production materials
Working efficiently to meet harvest schedules
This is a physically demanding role, but it's incredibly rewarding for someone who enjoys staying active and takes pride in producing a premium food product.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and seed microgreen trays
Harvest, package, and label products
Wash and sanitize trays and equipment
Maintain a clean and organized production facility
Move crops throughout the growing facility
Operate equipment including pressure washers, drills, fans, ladders, and other farm tools
Assist with facility maintenance and production projects
Follow all GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) and food safety procedures
Work closely with the team to complete weekly planting and harvest schedules

Qualifications:
We're looking for someone who is:
Reliable and punctual
Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
Comfortable working on an 18-foot ladder
Able to follow instructions carefully
Detail-oriented and takes pride in quality work
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Able to work well within a small team
Comfortable using power tools or willing to learn
Experience in farming, horticulture, landscaping, warehouse production, manufacturing, or food production is a plus—but not required.

Requirements:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must be fluent in spoken and written English
Must be at least 21 years old
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must live within Broward County
Must be willing to complete a Food Handler Certification (paid by Tiny Leaf)
Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs
Ability to work in both indoor and covered outdoor areas

Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
Approximately 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (most days)
Hours may occasionally vary during planting and harvest weeks as production demands change.

Why Join Tiny Leaf?

At Tiny Leaf, you're not just taking another job—you'll be helping produce premium ingredients served in some of South Florida's finest restaurants, hotels, clubs, and hospitality venues.
We're looking for someone who wants to be part of a growing company where quality matters, teamwork matters, and every harvest counts.

If you're dependable, hardworking, and enjoy staying active while producing something you're proud of, we'd love to meet you.

Hi yall,

I wanted to put something out on behalf of our farm and all the other farmers in south Florida growing Microgreens.

I’ve had this on my mind for some time now and I think it could be mutually beneficial to the entire microgreen grower / farming community here.

How does everyone feel about a local coalition for microgreen farmers? We could all work together to standarize pricing on the retail and wholesale markets and eliminate the bullying from buyers in both areas etc.

We’d also be able to support eachother on vendors, supplies and growing standards and more. Were GAP certified now, Id be happy to even help other farms achieve that!

Im going to be doing research on how we can obtain this. Please feel free to message me directly or Tiny Leaf Microgreen Farm to discuss ideas!

**My Purpose would be: to improve market access, ensure fair pricing, and educate consumers about microgreens **

Bicolor violas, we love viola season but also violas are problem children lol they are aphid and spider mite favorites!

Once the buggies get them we end up getting rid of them because we don’t spray toxins. We use a plant 🪴 oil to prevent infestations but since that is a natural method, it’s not always super effective

We enjoy them while we have them ♥️
