These shelter dogs got portraits as unique as they are 🎨
With more than 150 dogs waiting for homes, Ventura County Animal Services invited local kids to meet the pups and draw portraits capturing each one's personality. The drawings now hang outside their kennels, including those of long-stay dogs like Twix, who's been waiting more than 1,100 days for a family.
