HEY META...YOU DONT CARE ABOUT RESCUED ANIMALS!!!!
π¨ DEAR META, SMALL NONPROFITS NEED LINKS, NOT MORE ROADBLOCKS!
We're interrupting our regularly scheduled kitten cuteness because we have a bone to pick with Meta. π‘
Meta's new restrictions on sharing links are creating real problems for small nonprofits like Kneady Kitty Rescue. We simply don't have the funds to PAY for the ability to share more than two links a month!
Let's be clear. We're not sharing links to sell you something. We're sharing them to SAVE LIVES.
πΎ Amazon and Chewy wishlists? Hungry kittens need formula, food, and supplies.
πΎ Adoption applications? Homeless cats are waiting for families.
πΎ Donation links? Veterinary care isn't free, and sick kittens can't wait.
πΎ Foster applications? Another helping hand means another life saved.
These aren't marketing gimmicks. THESE ARE LIFELINES.
Small rescues don't have massive advertising budgets or marketing departments. We depend on our communities and the ability to connect people who want to help with animals who desperately need it.
We understand social media platforms are businesses. But shouldn't legitimate nonprofits doing meaningful work deserve some consideration?
Meta, instead of creating more roadblocks, how about helping us reach the people who make our missions possible?
Behind every wishlist, donation link, and adoption application is a living, breathing animal counting on someone to care. THOSE LIVES MATTER.
π To our incredible Kneady Kitty community: We're not going anywhere! If you're looking to adopt, foster, donate, or purchase supplies, please visit our website directly or message us.
We refuse to let social media restrictions stand between our supporters and the animals who need them.
The kittens shouldn't have to pay the price for another social media policy. πΎ
And Meta? We'd LOVE to direct everyone to our website right now, but apparently we've reached our limit on doing that, too. ππ
