In equine practice, reproductive ultrasonography is far more than a routine tool for pregnancy diagnosis. It plays a key role in understanding the dynamic physiology of the mare’s reproductive tract.

Join the webinar “50 Shades of Gray: Advanced Ultrasonography of the Mare’s Reproductive Tract,” led by Dr. Jenn Hatzel, DVM, MS, Diplomate ACT, Associate Professor of Equine Reproduction.

Through interactive image interpretation, this session explores how to derive clinically relevant information from subtle ultrasonographic findings, with a focus on follicular health, ovarian abnormalities, and post-breeding changes.

📆 October 6, 2026
🕟 4:30 - 6:00 PM CEST

Register now to refine your diagnostic approach and gain practical insights into advanced equine reproductive ultrasonography.

🐴 Expanding What’s Possible in Equine Breeding

For centuries, horse breeding has combined knowledge, patience, and a little luck. Today, advances in reproductive medicine are opening new possibilities.

Intracytoplasmic S***m Injection (ICSI) allows veterinarians to create embryos by injecting a single s***m directly into an oocyte.

What does that mean for breeders? ✨
• Older mares can continue contributing to breeding programs
• Performance mares can remain in training while embryos are produced
• Limited or rare frozen semen can be preserved and utilized
• Valuable genetics can be carried forward for future generations

ICSI is helping turn breeding possibilities that once seemed out of reach into reality. 🧬🐎 Want to learn more? Read the attached article from our own Dr. Jenn Hatzel.
