Happy 5th birthday, Opie! From that confident, spunky little filly to the talented, but goofy and beautiful young mare she is now šŸ˜ I couldnā€™t be more proud of how this little ā€˜experimentā€™ turned out! Canā€™t wait to see what else she can do!

When ā€˜s mare came up with an abscess, she hopped on new OTTB, Max for a lesson the other day! Did I mention heā€™s insanely quiet and willingā€¦?! What a good boy!

Been enjoying playing with this new guy! Iā€™ve had some great ground work sessions with him and looking forward to when heā€™s ready to ride (he was gelded before shipping)! I need a cool barn name for himā€¦

Gelded, front shoes on and slowly but surely gaining weight; 9 yr old OTTB (former stallion), Jack Sprout is turning into quite the cool guy! He had his first ride with me after his gelding, then popped over his first x rails with Elsa today! It was hard to tell when he first arrived just what heā€™d be like, but I bet heā€™s going to have an awesome glow up šŸ˜

Wow, talk about a crazy day yesterday! I, perhaps will not recommend taking 11 horses to a schooling event again, but at least it was entertaining! šŸ˜‚ Certainly, some highs and lows. We had fresh horses in the morning cold, and lots of learning, but overall proud of our team! Elsa and Ziva had a great round on the Training xc course, then she got Athena back out for the first time since her injury; Elsa and Owen took 1st place in the BN mini trial! And, Elsa helped pilot Emmy and Hippy around the SJ course! I rode Opie for her Novice debut SJ and XC and she was fabulous! Even, after galloping out to rescue Sylvie from the ditch monster šŸ˜… Proud of all, Dagny had her first rough time with her new mare and thatā€™s always hard; Sylvie hated the ditch again but got over it; Kenley and Jimbo had major redemption with an excellent mini trial at Starter; Stephanie took her new mare in poles; Ava had an awesome round with Leda; and Lucia jumped Emmy!

Busy day at Four Winds today! Elsa and Eisley rode Percy and Hermes in the .70ā€™s and did great, each earning a 2nd among others! Then, Elsa Rode Az in the .85ā€™s and I rode Cosmea! Cosmea made improvements getting to jump multiple rounds and Elsa and Az did great, even earning a 2nd, among other ribbons! Finally, Elsa rode Ziva in a beautiful clear round at the .90ā€™s then had two great rounds in the meters, with a couple small errors causing two rails. But, BIG improvement at that height from Archer!
