**Calling all vets.** Tired of interacting with the public? Dealing with the non-medical side of running a clinic? Corporate bullsh*t? Not feeling appreciated, not getting any real time off?

Are you ready for a change? Interested in shelter medicine with a crew that truly values their doctor? Interested in living in a beautiful Northern California community? Interested in making a serious impact?

Then the clinic vet position at Mendocino Coast Humane Society may be for you, or a vet you know! (Please share!)

The Coast Cat Project works extremely closely with Mendocino Coast Humane Society. They're our number one provider of spay and neuter services, and honestly just the most awesome group of animal advocates around.

They take good care of their doctor. They maintain a buffer with the public so the vet can focus on medicine. Flexible schedule, actual vacation days, real work-life balance.

Come be part of the solution on the Mendocino Coast.

What is luckier than one black cat? A black cat that has an entire litter of black kittens. Introducing Nyla, this beautiful young mommy brought five gorgeous little black kittens into this world on Sunday very late at night. She is the sweetest girl, medium hair, and just so loving and the best mom. One of the kittens is very much a runt and is currently in foster care with a foster that specializes in taking care of the tiniest babies. She wasn’t doing well trying to compete with her siblings, so she’s getting some TLC. The other four are robust, fat little hungry, sweet peas. Will be taking you along on their journey as we get them ready to make their debut at the Humane Society in a couple of months.
