What is luckier than one black cat? A black cat that has an entire litter of black kittens. Introducing Nyla, this beautiful young mommy brought five gorgeous little black kittens into this world on Sunday very late at night. She is the sweetest girl, medium hair, and just so loving and the best mom. One of the kittens is very much a runt and is currently in foster care with a foster that specializes in taking care of the tiniest babies. She wasn’t doing well trying to compete with her siblings, so she’s getting some TLC. The other four are robust, fat little hungry, sweet peas. Will be taking you along on their journey as we get them ready to make their debut at the Humane Society in a couple of months.

UPDATE: Cali has found her forever home ❤️

Meet Cali, a five year old calico with a very passionate love language. Teeth.

Her owner passed away, and now this spicy little queen is at risk of euthanasia because she gives love bites with full enthusiasm. She bites when she is happy, she bites when she is overstimulated, and sometimes she bites just to remind you she is the main character.

Cali needs an experienced cat person who appreciates personality, boundaries, and a little chaos. No kids, no beginners, yes to brave humans.

If you cannot adopt her, please share. Callie deserves a chance.

The best way to control rats in this community is with working cats. You give them shelter in an outbuilding, make sure that they have food and water, and they will help make sure that the rats, mice, moles, voles, and gophers stay away.
