Meet Khloe, our Cat of the Week. 🐾

Khloe is about 8 months old and full of personality. She’s playful, clever, affectionate, and can go from chasing toys to cuddle time in seconds.

She enjoys people and gets along well with her feline roommates, so she may be a great fit for a home with another cat companion.

Khloe’s adoption fee is $75. Come meet her and see if she’s the one you’ve been waiting for. 🤍

Meet Cutie Pie, our Dog of the Week. 🤍

Cutie Pie is about 5 years old and truly lives up to her name. She is affectionate, playful, people-loving, and always happy to spend time with her humans, whether that means going for a walk, playing, snuggling, or simply relaxing nearby.

She has several canine friends at the shelter and may do well in a home with another dog after a slow introduction. She would do best in a home without cats or chickens.

And even better, thanks to a generous donor, Cutie Pie’s adoption fee has been fully sponsored.

UPDATE: WOW THANK YOU EVERYONE!!
We have made it to our goal so we are shutting off this fundraiser but thank you everyone again for your support!!

 Our shelter dishwasher officially died! 😩 With the number of food and water bowls we wash every day, we definitely can’t go long without one.
If you’d like to help us purchase a new dishwasher, any amount would be greatly appreciated! It’s not the most exciting shelter purchase, but it’s definitely one we can’t live without. 🐾❤️

Paul Bunyan Days Parade: Road Closure & Detour Information

The Paul Bunyan Days Parade is coming up! Please be aware of temporary road closures in downtown Fort Bragg:

Monday, September 7, 2026
10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

The RED line on the attached map shows the parade route and no parking areas

The Green Lines on the attached map show alternative routes. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes to avoid the parade area.

Suggested alternate routes include Harrison Street for north/south travel and open east/west streets outside of the parade route. If you don't need to access downtown, consider avoiding the central downtown area during the closure.

Please watch for barricades, volunteers, traffic-control personnel, and officers, and follow all posted signs and directions.
